Not a seal clubber but...

So I've gotten to the point these passed 3 days where no matter how good I feel I do, nothing is enough to win. I play the same boat as I do best with it and it is also my highest MK boat; the defender.

But using the same boat gets boring. Though I do above average in most my battles with defender, I do wish to try new things. I will now be trying other boats. Even the ones I do not have leveled up or proper items for.

Call me a seal clubber but I give up boring myself for victories and much more for losses, when I have teams who do not wish to try for me. From now on I will be using any boat I please, no matter what mk level it is. And if I don't have the items I need I will be buying some uncommons. I will be trying my best even with these low leveled boats and items but I know they aren't the type of items that can really turn a game around and win like my defender can. I understand I will be losing many battles even though I will still be trying my best.

I am currently 800 infamy lower than where I usually am which is why I get questioned by my friends if I am dropping on purpose or tanking infamy. So, no, I am not, I am simply enjoying myself.

This is not a rant on matchmaking. I understand how it works and realize it is the best it can be. But my luck with teammates have driven me to the point where I am frustrated while playing rather than having fun. So now, it's time for fun

I also encourage someone who is having hard times in the game and isn't enjoying it anymore to just let go and just have some fun.

 

Having fun should be the primary objective of game time

Im trying my luck in a speeder these days, not always a pretty sight! But fun!

 

I use mk4 shooter and mk4 fixer, I'm upgrading speeder currently, shooter has become too slow and I only have a level II rare turbo

 

Makes sense. Just make sure you don't get banned.

 

I don't see why I'd get banned. Rovio better hand me some free mk5 boats before banning me for using low mks. They aren't easy to buy

 

Considering all those ban complaints we've had in past. I'd say losing infamy while playing lower mk will flag you a potential clubber. Those people might as well be lying but they had the same reason.

 

Those are players who suicided without doing any dmg constantly and got banned for it. I am actually trying to win and doing my best so Rovio won't ban me

 

I stopped practicing speeder cause I suck so bad at it that I lost tons of infamy so I kinda know where you are headed.

Trust Me, you WILL NOT HAVE FUN. You would probably end up with more frustration than where you started.

I'm actually doing pretty good. As for red items I have still been using my 2x tier 4 rare snipers so I still put out high dmg per game. And for yellow or green I use low levels of course

I remember this guy getting banned for playing MK2 speeder for fun. Apparently he was also trying his best and was even getting 2 stars in defeats. But then again, if you're at least winning some games then you should be good.

 

@Joeyaa , as much as I like you, this does make me lose some respect for you. Yeah, you're not trying to tank infamy, no doubt about that. But you will be dragging your team down. You want an mk5 ship? Then just grind for it lol, you'd be surprised as how fast you can collect gold if you don't buy anything from the shop for a day.

It pains me to see that a respectable player like you chooses the path of dragging the team down.

 

If he's winning with lower mk ships at his infamy level then that is something to applaud, he's got and skills and he keeps getting better.

If any we should have more respect for him now.

 

Euhm... He just said that he is 800 infamy points lower than normal... So no, he isn't winning with his lower mk ships. If you have a ship of a certain mk lvl, then never, ever use a ship with a lower mk lvl, just don't.

 

I never asked for your respect. And I'm still doing better than some in my teams. Difference is I'm now enjoying the game and having fun.

 

I am not convinced by screenshots from a few lucky matches. And because of this attidude you made me lose even more respect.

 

Whether I am doing good or bad I am trying to win. Difference now is I'm not using my ship that has 7k health points. Anyways, you have your opinion and I have mine but in the end I'm enjoying the game this way
