Why is the Star Crate available in 7H 44M? Is there a certain number of star crates you can open per day or something?

Out of as much time playing this is the first you've gotten this... Hahahaha!

I'm sorry I usually don't get 75 stars and open that many crates per day.

Yup, 5 star crates a day, then you're out until reset. It's a little irritating, to be honest.

I knew this because people said it before on the forums, but I never got all my star crates in a day.

 

I actually experienced this this morning too. I was like hmmmmmmmm?
Yesterday was the most I've played I think ever! Managed to get from 1700 infamy to 2100 in my mk4 shooter, so I'm pretty happy.

Honestly don't mind there being a cap. 5 crates in a day is a lot of playing...

Why not use the most overpowered and broken item in all of battle bay? You'd be a fool not to. I use firebomb because I know of it's ridiculous abilities.

 

Is firebomb really overpowed damage wise? Or is it just because of the usually higher star rewards? I think big Berta will deal considerably ,ore damage than a firebomb, unless I'm missing something wich I'd love to hear.

 

It is overpowered because no matter where you are in the ring (most times even if you are completely outside of the ring) you will still be burned for 20 seconds. It is overpowered because every time you get hit by a cannon the duration is not reduced like frost is so enemy keeps getting cannon boosts on that player until he is dead (because you can shoot them with a second one before the 1st one even runs out.). It is overpowered because (if shot by someone with the average IQ) the firebomb can't be dodged, even a speeder with overboost but no nitro cannot escape a properly placed firebomb. It is overpowered because as a mortar it can be shot close range. It is overpowered because it's low arc (lowest out of all mortars and equivalent to the napalm) makes it useable even in in-door places of the maps.

 

Fair points, I did not realize that. However, at the 3000 infamy range I hardly see players with firebomb anymore.

 

Wrong. A lot in 3000-4000 use firebomb.

Lol, I know how you feel. Firebomb is one of few weapons that makes me salty whenever I get killed by it. I've tried it, but despite it OP-ness, I find it's unsatisfying to use. I'm more a direct damage person, torpedoes, explosive cannon, missiles, that's my stuff. Weapons with lingering damage is just not for me because I like seeing big damage numbers on my screen.
