Load out help/items to upgrade (Yes I'm that guy)

Hi all,

I've been playing about 2 months, but I only recently started checking out the forum. I have questions not so much about load out, but about which items to target for upgrading. I just finally made it to an epic container (sort of disappointing), and I'm really just curious which items to focus on first.

I mostly play mk4 speeder with rare t3 blast cannon and epic big torp, sometimes mk4 shooter with long range mortar and fire bomb/second blast cannon/second big torp. I neglected to upgrade Enforcer early on, but I feel like Enforcer really shines at mk5. Attached is a picture of what I've got. I can get my rare swift torp up pretty high, but I don't wanna be a double torpedo guy. I'm also not successful with big berta on my shooter (too slow). I'm thinking of getting the tesla bolt up over the frost cannon but not sure. May also try out the epic missiles.

Thanks in advance, I know these posts can be annoying to the disinterested but I'm hoping more experienced players may have advice for items worth boosting.

 

Tesla bolt is pretty awesome on a speeder, I'd take that over the frost blaster. I wouldn't waste resources on the missiles, unless you get a second one so you're not stuck with a max level of 10. At your level and infamy, epic tier 1 weapons really start to be bad... better to have a good rare, like your blast cannon.

 

Im a big player, spent money, and its impossible to raise 2 boat efficiently.
So about speedee.

Tesla will avoid you to be 2 shot when you ran in a group, you stun 1 and attack another. When you ran out.
On the other hand frost and big torpedo is wonderful.

After with your item i will up :
Blast
Normal torpedo (rare) and easier to up than epic one, and can be really fast if well up
Teslabolt

 

If you are good with speeder, stick to it! End game you will be amazing. Shooter is only good with lots of money invested (over $5,000.00 min).
Current setup freeze and torpedo would be good combo. Level up rare blast cannon and epic big torpedo. As you level up evaluate torpedo hit chance, if not great at it go for close range high damage. Switch overboost with Tesla bolt. As a speeder try to save every carronade!

 

Thanks, I agree it's easy to get upgraded rares that outperform lvl 10 epic...actually the only epic I got from my epic container was the epic turbo, but I spent the past week getting my rare turbo up to lvl 29. It's already better than lvl 10 epic would be. oh well.

Also I tried out tesla bolt, it changed my style a little - I'm a bit more conservative and do less scouting without my nitro - but my team tends to win more, so I think I'm gonna stick with it. I'm not TOO far from speeder mk5, just got to level 28, so bolt - overboost - nitro would be pretty sweet. Thanks!

 

Thanks, yeah when I first started having success with speeder I was doing double blast cannon with lvl10 epic and lvl 10 rare. I had rare big torp but sucked with it. Then I got duplicates of rare blast and my epic torpedo, the damage was just so overwhelming that I practiced until I got better with it. Unfortunately I'm pretty far from getting Bhurt up to level 4, so it will be a while before I get tier 4 blast.
Haven't tried carronades, I've only come across a rare one once and it was before I played speeder...tossed it too quickly, perhaps.

 

What do you mean, I haven't invested and am da beastest.
