How are combat pearls awarded?

    tried searching but nothing came up.
    Anyone know how the pearls are awarded? Can you ever get one pearl (before the ad bonus) if you lose?
    Sometimes I do very well and only get one pearl for the win. Other times I suck and get 2.

    It's completely random, just like how the game decides what to give you when you open chests

    It's based on how well you do in the match. 0 damage and afk I think is 0 pearls, or possibly one

    It's completely random, but can be reduced to 0 for floating.
