An option to op in or out of season.

Heres my idea for an update. Turn the season into a tournament which is all it is now basically. The twist would be to have the option to opt out and just play the game without the worry of infamy since that system is already screwed up. I would like the ability to just play, build my weapons and practice with a variety of boats and items then join the tournaments once I'm ready. I think this game needs a bay for practicing where you can still win gold and sugar, but the tournaments could be the bigger loot hauls

 

So what you're saying is you're a fragile snowflake who can't handle the pressure everyone else puts on you for Infamy...when in reality nobody really cares anyway, but your Narcissism wins every argument over common sense.

I have a better idea. How about No. No No No. Here's what you should do instead: Just play the game as you want to, and literally NEVER HIT THE SEASON BUTTON to check your position...just log in every other Sunday and collect your bonus.

There is literally no downside to being in the Season. You're asking for a convoluted option that will affect the 3 people in the entire game without the discipline to just ignore the Season button if it bothers you THAT MUCH.

 

eh, they kinda have a point. I'm a big proponent of a practice area. It's not fair to my team to try out a different, weaker than my main, ship or get used to different weapons when they're infamy is at risk.
BUT... if you're in the practice area you should get NO rewards, of any kind.

If you want rewards you have to risk your infamy.

 

Look, all I'm saying is that having a different option that allows you the ability to learn the game, boats and items would be nice. So..... keep your unnecessary single minded remark to yourself. Your a new member on here who probably just started playing this game. So put some time in then comment.
