Average Kill per Game

    Am I good? Do ya'll suck? Is this game full of 12-year-olds?
    I'm averaging 3-4 kills per game. I've had one game in which I didn't get a kill and it was because I was testing equipment and mechanics. Simple math (I definitely won't degrade your integrity, nor will I mine, by explaining the math) tells us that nobody should average more than 1-2 kills as a "good" player if the majority of the games end due to kills and not time (which happens more often than not). How am I averaging this many kills, then? What are you guys getting? I started this account solely so I could post this question to this forum. I love the game, but I'm going to quit if it's going to be lacking in competition up the chain of XP and levels. Ya'll got any advice?

    Your infamy? Your level? Sounds like you are quite low. It's hard to comment without that info.

    Besides, there are multiple kinds of boats with many different purposes, and kills is only one of them.

    I like the way you think. Honestly, yes, I just started. I've played for a total of less than an hour over 2 days and I'm level 8, if that helps. I also play Trials Frontier, and it took me 4 years to get 40 levels, so this game seems like it has far less of a learning curve to me. My purpose of posting is mostly to hear from higher level players whether it's scrubs just on the bottom or all the way up. I'm not going to spend much time on this game if it's polarized in its player-base.

    In general, always focus on upgrading your items and making stars for crates instead of climbing infamy. You and everyone will naturally climb up as they progress

    Wait until you specialize. Then things will be different! Like me, my average is 0.5 kills per game .:p But then again, I'm a fixer, so...

    I've got my primary weapon upgraded to the point of needed evolution and I did that in just a few battles worth of rewards. I also spent a lot of time and resources upgrading a weapon I didn't like and also upgraded 2-3 "backup" weapons... What are they called in this game? The turbo and boosters and such?

    Listen, I'm not trying to get on here and tick off hardcore players of the game... But I'm doubting the game's growth in difficulty as I progress, and that's really all there is to this.

    Guys, I'm aware that my opening post was more than controversial on the surface, but I've been on the internet for a while now and I understand how these things work... At least people are here and replying to my post ;)

    I'm not a jerk irl, or maybe I am idk, but I did it on purpose. I'm not a god at the game and I know that. Thank you for not tearing into me, you gentle souls.

    Just some friendly info. That when you go up you won't be destroying ships every game and you will lose lots of battles no matter how skilled you are. If you make your main focus on gaining infamy you will be highly disappointed

    Also....at that level, you are playing many bots. 12-yos would do quite well I suspect.

    Adjetive-Animal Name-Number....bot man...bot. And bad.

    That is exactly what I wanted to hear. This is what I was hoping for. I didn't want to get a few months, or even years, deep into the game and be disappointed that I wasn't among other serious players. Thank you.

    Bots? Really? How might one "bot' a game like this, with it's "3D" interactions and gaming systems? Even the worst players I've seen seem rather intelligent and guided, in a way. Are bots really that far nowadays?

    The tutorials are bots (when you are forced to do around 5 battles when you start). And maybe a few games aftet I am not 100% sure

    When I say "specialize" I am referring to your style of play. When you try all the ships out and see which one you like best, that is a step. Your playing style will dictate what weapons you use and how you battle. For example, when I play speeder, I mostly flank and distract. This doesn't cause much damage, but it helps out the rest of the team. Another way to play speeder is to be an assassin. In this set you are fast and specialize in finishing off players that have wandered too far away from their group. This could net many kills, but nor deal a lot of damage.

    I might be naive, but it seems unlikely to me that many of the matches have more than 1 bot at most, so let's say 50/50 flip on the games where every other game has a tutorial-level bot. That's still a 4-5 game with one bot that might interact and screw up the otherwise natural flow of the game. Do you think that the bots are ever near the top-level player in a match, which would ultimately screw over the other players on that team due to their lack of "actual" skill? In other words, the only way I could see a bot throwing a game in favor of the opposing team is if 2 or more bots are on one team (actually more than a ratio of 2:1 between the games if both teams have bots, and that is more than unlikely if the generator for each game is truly, or even pseudo-, random), OR if a game is generated in which the highest "level" player is the bot. I doubt the latter solely because I can't imagine a bot being "good" enough to level up faster than any real player that is actively engaged in a game, and thus highly unlikely that a bot would end up as the top player on a team.
    Thoughts?
    I wanted to take into consideration pure random chance of the success of a bot if it ran every day from day one of the game's official launch, but, well, math, amirite? Feel free to make an attempt, though. That sounds pretty dope to run some ideas across

    Maybe not anymore but in the tutorial at least there was for sure bots
