Season Top is confusing.

    So has anyone noticed this funny number that appears on some profiles? I'm sure you've all seen it.

    It's the Nightmare badge on the top right with a separate infamy number in Blue. I see this on some profiles, but they are few and far between.
    My initial thinking was that these are related to being a Personal best and the number is represented as the highest infamy achieved in the season, however, why does it not show for everyone? Obviously that's not the case, so my other conclusion is that it's related to being able to top the Season League and the current holder of the Season lead, so I tried to experiment and get to #1 of my League. Ace I.

    As of last night, I was first in my league, but my profile still doesn't show that badge.
    I started talking to some of my peers and to better understand what this badge even means, and even they are confused! I then I heard of reasons that it's for last season, and it gets more puzzling as we talk as Nightmare leaguers seem to have that badge randomly.

    It's known that Nightmare only has one league. So technically, Christmas should have that badge, and should technically have that badge now whether it was LAST season or current season (since he was first last season and this season right now).

    It makes no sense what that even stands for. Anyone have an idea?

    It should show the player top infamy during this season, but apparently it's not always working. We'll take a look at it.

    Yeah only very few people seem to have the season top thingy, and it seems to always show the current infamy instead of the actual season top.

    How does the season points work?

    Getting in the next league is based on the season points, or on based on the infamy? Like does a person upgrade from Warrior to Ace league?
    If based on infamy, does it consider the current infamy or the highest infamy touched?

    Your highest infamy over the season will determine your prizes in your league and new league placement when applicable.
    Season points are only for upgrading your captain's badge, which is purely cosmetic.
