I feel like I remember hearing intentionally dropping infamy to better win battles against players with lower ships was a ban-able offense or something maybe a different game. Either way, is that an accepted practice? It's being sold off as if it's completely fine and fair. View attachment 2769 View attachment 2769

It's a common practice and the most complained about issue.

It's a banable offense, yes. Will he be banned? Most likely not.

How about idiots like this guy, mk3 ship with a single tier 1 uncommon weapon. You're never going to stop people from purposely losing. You have to try and mitigate the loss for the better playing team members

Sadly this still isn't fixing the issue..

Started my new account a couple of days ago and...

I feel bad for any player starting this game. Because if it was this bad when I first started I would have uninstalled immediately.

Yeah man when I started a new account I was super excited to be able to try out a new ship, and as a mk1 got to about 500 just fine.
Then I started losing....and didn't stop. Mk3-4, terrible teams. Seal clubbers and afk players
Back to 200, got to mk2, still was losing being paired up with mk3-4 continuously.
I got flash backs to how much I had to grind in the beginning of the game to get over 1600....win loss win loss.
No way could I do that again , don't have the time, patience, or passion for the game to battle this madness.

I know you @Joeyaa as Well-known Member and appreciate your Opinion, but in this Case must I contradict!

I can't see any seal clubbing.
The Warrior Player is a little bit under his League, but you and I know this jojo issue. I'm bouncing around 2200 Infamy, rise to 2600 and loose 500 Point in 24 hours. That happend to me on the Infamy Latter since I started playing this game a month after SoftLaunch.
The Players are all in a very short Infamy Range of about 60 Points and there are 2 MK1 facing MK2 and Mk3. I was against famous Widowmaker's MK5 Speeder, in my little Mk2 Banana; Infamy difference about 1000. But I will not boring with Veterans Histories. What I want to say is, that the players base become much wider after global and there are Players who easier understand the Game mechanics then others. Your experienced Skills brings you to that high Infamy for a MK1. By the way - my alternate account is at the same infamy - I have a MK2 ;)
Some Players buy Stuff, not knowing what they will need, others invest their Gold into a better boat. That's life!
Leaning back with my Thousands of Battles and looking back, I'm with @behumble
But I'm sure there are new Players who battle this madness or have the wallet! (But this is another Thread)

Meet you all in the Bay - battle on!

...and Joeyaa I see your big Torpedo

I agree with most parts but also, I was playing with people who barely knew how to shoot but also I was pretty up high for a mk1.

And let's not mention my super high leveled overpowered catastrophic big torpedo. It scares me sometimes...
