New 2 point Blue Item idea

    As everyone knows, there is only one 2-point blue item in the game, so to add more diversity/choice, we need another one of those.
    This item is fairly simple, and realistic.
    So basically it is an item that improves both the types of agilities(turret/ship), but it would increase the numbers less than putting on gear lube/rudder of the same level/rarity.

    Translation for not-so-smart people: Gooder agility. 1 item. 2 slot point. Such gud. Wow.

    Some numbers:
    For me, a level 1 epic gear lube does +21.6%
    And a level 1 epic rudder does +27.5%

    So a level 1 epic "agility-item" would give you around +16.6% turret agility and around +21.2%
    The way I got those numbers is by dividing the values of the original items by 1.3


    I just wanted more options when you have 1 slot and 2 slot points, so what do you guys think?

    I think the reason there is no second 2 slot points item is because any time you can fit a 2 slot points blue item a big shield is most definitely the obivous choice.

    But defenders have tons of HP and like no agility.

    Big turbo

    Big rudder

    Big gear lube

    Horrible ideas. Big shield is useful because there is no max HP limit. There are speed, agility, and turret speed limits which you can max with 1 decent leveled turbo, rudder or gear lube.

    You got an mk6 ship with maxed speed, turn agility or turret agility? Those thing take a level 50 epic with all epic perks to max it from what I lnow

    Takes level 36 turbo and rudder with perks to max a mk5 speeder's agility and speed. Try level 40 without exaggeration for mk6. You guys got that?

    I recently got an MK4 shooter and there wasn't a drastic difference in the win rates. The reasons: first, getting myself used to one more slot point. Second thing I noticed later: I've only level 10 rare turbo and the speed is horrible. I was used to greater speeds, quickly taking a cover, etc.

    I think we don't have 2-slot-points blue items as it'll change the ship drastically. Like, an MK4 defender could be an unkillable beast with "big turbo", "big rudder", and "turbo". Or, an enforcer can have speeds like speeder with a "big turbo".

    "Big turbo" is a game changer. I'd like to have it on MK4 shooter to have the earlier speeds! But, if it would be a reality, that's not sure.

    By the time you get Mk6, you should probably have that, if not better.
    Exactly what I was thinking. It wouldn't be a reality because (as Joeyaa said) most attributes like speed and agility have limits, so it would not really make sense as you can get to the limit with a normal turbo/rudder.
    That's why my idea is a combination of the two agilities(ship/turret), but still, it does not overpower putting on a gear lube+rudder at the same time. Kinda like a big shield does not usually overpower two standard shields of the same level as the big shield.

    Sorry for any misunderstandings, but what I was trying to say, is that by the time you get an Mk6 (unlocks around captain level 40) you would have quite a bit of epics, unless of course, you scrapped them all. Because it does take a while to get to captain level 40, unless you waste lots of money on pearls to get sugar, and then just rush the training with your pearls.

    You weren't being rude, I just wanna know how hard it is and how long it takes to get tier 5 epics.

    How long have you been playing and how many tier 5 epic do you have?. I've been playing for nearly 3 months and I have 7 epics so far.

    I didn't say I had any tier 5 epics. What I was trying to say is that practically all the top players practically only use tier 5 epics or better, but I'm not completely sure. And all the top players use Mk6/Mk7 ships.
    And to your question, I have played for about 1.5 months, and have 3 epics (9/10 for the fourth one).
    But it does take a long time to get tier 5 epics, mostly for f2p players (like me).

    I think I should have used a less powerful word instead of 'exaggerations'. More like 'slight overestimations' for the comment above.

    Without a doubt you will have those level items as a mark 6 boat. Even the free to play players like porthos, bittersteal and waveblower have them.

    You aren't likely at all to have t5 epics by the time you get to mk6 if you're f2p, in fact you'll have to pearl in a few differences just to afford the t5 crew talents.
    I'm about two weeks away from my first mk6 now and I have one t4 epic and no t5 anything.
