    we all know that there is no moderator on chat
    why not allow chat only when people reach 400 or 500 infamy? all troll are under these infamy.

    Mixed feelings about that idea. It would help to reduce the amount of trolls by alot... But at the same time, what about new players just got into this game only to find out that they can't chat in an online game.

    This would be a great idea :D................if I could be a moderator... But in all seriousness this could help with some of the recruiting issues in the game. Even something as simple as showing the captain level or level of ship beside players names would allow people like me to quickly filter through people who wouldn't meet requirments. Or at least a mute feature to block those pesky kids (as has been mentioned before)

    I think global chat should be league based. There is no point in being in the same chat as someone with 400 infamy when you have 2000+. It's not like we will be fleeting anytime soon.

    I don't think this would be added though. Because all the trolls make a lot of people want to buy VIP for the VIP chat

    I would rather deal with teenage trolls than pay $10 a month lol. I've learned to avoid global chat and just stick with the guild chat :p

    The different chatrooms should require different infamy, would make it easier to find people to guild and fleet up with

    Or everybody who has issues with trolls can just mass report them all together

    Mods do check reports and ban people for legit issues, I've reported several people but my reports alone won't help bump real trollers up the queue.

    For some games, global chat isn't opened until you reach a certain captain level, I think that might be effective. Like level 10? Takes 2 days...
    Otherwise, having it tied to infamy seems unwise considering how many high lvl players are stuck there.
