Capture area bug?

Several key times I've been sitting in the capture area where everyone can move around in there as much as they want and percentage ticks up. However if the enemy fires on people in the capture area and you move the same, still remaining within the capture area, the percentage starts over more often than not. A few times I thought it may be possible that I or a teammate briefly went outside of the capture, but the last two times this happened, I am 100% sure I stayed in the area yet and the percentage resets. I'm also 100% confident it was not a teammate stepping out as there was only 2 of us, so it was easy to tell who was responsible for each percentage. Whether this intentional or a bug, it's very significant issue to be dealt with.

 

if you or your teammate standing in the capture zone gets shot, the percentage resets or drops a few dozen, depending how high it was and how many of you are floating in there.

 

Your sorta correct. When you go into the capture area, your individual capture percentage goes up. When you get shot, you lose your own individual capture percentage

 

Every time you go outside the capture area or get hit you lose your capture points. So if the teammate with most points goes out or gets hit by a cannon. He loses his points and capture drops significantly and if he takes a torpedo/mortar and all of you take splash damage and all of you lose your capture points and capture starts again.

Also, when you're burning, your capture points wont go up.
