Game bans and Chat bans

Hello, I am the Karmic Noob, leader of the Useless Noobs guild.

I have a complaint against the moderators of this game. I am an older player and often have my fun making fun of younger kids who play this game. This often varies from religion, race, and game cheats.

Directly I don't support any sort of racial or religious discrimination or cheating. In fact I make fun of these things, advertising them in a way that makes younger players take it seriously.

For example I might say:
"Come my Muslim brothers and join our holy war against the evil Americans at www .holywar. com."

This website does not exist, at least to my knowledge. I have even advertised a cheat website known as GameGaurdian that actually has no sort of compatibility with Battle Bay.

Players get so mad seeing these things, especially younger players. These are the things I capitalize on. As the leader of the Useless Noobs everyone reads the name and automatically assumes that everyone in the guild is terrible, when that is not actually the truth. So is what I am doing religious discrimation? Am I advertising a cheat that doesn't actually work? Does this deserve a chat ban or game ban?

Perhaps so. But I think this game is tailored for 12 year olds or younger. I never actually swear or try to bypass chat filters or spam chat like many others do.... yet they still remain.

My only request is to really review what is really being reported. Does quantity overrule quality? I have been banned from the game and chat banned multiple times for making jokes that little kids take seriously. You could make this game rated for 18+ and little kids will always play, much like every other game. Don't punish those who are more mature and can take a joke.

So you are complaining about being banned..for doing EXACTLY what it says in Chat Rules is a bannable offence..(which I'm positive you've never looked at).
You openly admit to trolling younger players..and that's how you capitalize? And you're mature??
And yes you do swear in chat..been seen MANY times. Do you not think it offensive to type about Muslims chopping off Americans heads??..Do you think younger people or anyone want to see such drivel??
You've been banned from chat multiple times.. doesn't that tell you something?
Personally I hope it's a permanent ban and I'm glad to see the Devs are taking action to reports.
My advice??..Either act your age..or read Chat Rules on the next game that you download BEFORE trolling and spamming religious hate.

 

You deserved the ban, and just as Biffter says, I hope it's permanent. Seriously, that nerve of yours... Even creating a topic while you clearly deserved the ban. Please GTFO of battle bay forever and go seek mental help because saying things like that is not normal at all.

 

It's not terrible suprising that a troll gets banned for trolling?

I'm all for humour and sarcasm, in particular putting people's dumb ideas down with a hefty sarcastic comment. But I can understand why people who post comments out of the blue for the only purpose of upsetting others, are not exactly helping in creating a less toxic chat environment.

 

Dude, we check the chat history of the reports before we make any decision. Let's just say that you violated these in-game chat rules more than 40 times. Gotta follow them rules my man!

... well mental help goes a bit far, but saying those things defnitely is not normal, and I too am happy to see OP is getting bans for it.

 

If you take a look at the extreme rubbish he said then mental help Might not even be enough. He should be locked up in an insane asylum, or get the terrorist treatment.

 

Hahaha I didn't think anyone was paying any attention to this post until I finally checked it today.

Despite all the hate towards my brand of humor, I do have a simple solution.
Make an 18+ chat?

 

If they gave you an 18+ chat room how would you continue to hold your superior humor over children? I'm guessing adults would have limited tolerance for you.

Let me get this straight, you want the devs to make an 18+ chat just so you can troll people?. Also, you didn't get banned cause your "sense of humour" was offensive, you got banned cause making fun of people isn't humour at all, it's plain douchebaggery. You'd continue to get reported and banned even in 18+ rooms, not cause people can't take your jokes but simply cause people like you are cancer to the community.

I have a better solution, stay banned. It's best for all of us.

 

Well my sort of humor isn't for everyone. It's the reactions people have that make it so funny. Why so serious friend? Honestly I had a good laugh just reading the posts on this thread. Didn't know I was so well known!

How is it too late? I'm not banned from the game (as much as you wish it were so). I think what's going on here is that we have a dedicated player base on these forums that have reviewed and researched the rules of the game and dedicate themselves to being politically correct at all times.

When you see something that doesn't fit this cookie mold, it's like wolves to the slaughter. I'm sure more than a few here really don't know who I am and are just joining the bash to make themselves look good for the community or the administrators.

I don't know you, but we all know you make fun of people so you can have a laugh at the expense of their comfort. This much you've admitted yourselves, I don't need to know anything more about you to say you are a cancer.

Also, the same people throwing insults at you are the ones regularly whining about the devs and admins, "Trying to look good in front of the mods" is the last thing any of us would do. If anything, we'd like to agitate them further so that they'd atleast try to bring the kind of development we want and the game needs.

 

Btw, it's not about being legally right, many of us don't care about the rules, it's about invading other people's comfort zone for your own selfish "fun"
