Is it must to upgrade all ships...?

    Is it must to upgrade all ships to mk3, mk4,mk5..or we can update only one.
    Because of not upgrading all the ships, does we loose any captain experience..?
    or nothing happens. if we did not upgrade our ship..?

    No, there's no captain experience given for upgrading ships. You can upgrade the one(s) you like and leave the rest at low mk level.

    You only need to focus on the ships you play. I only have a mk4 fixer the others are mk1, my shooter might be mk2.
    Also if you use other ships for storage room the will affect the quests you get.
    A ship with an item in it will come up as the "win 3 battles in the ....(fixer/shooter etc)" an empty ship will not appear. Also "do 3000k of damage with the (insert weapon here)" will also be any weapon that's currently equipped on any ship if you don't want them to appear keep them in your inventory.

    @Craigjnoble mk1 / mk2 ships never appear in quests even if you store items on them

    Oh cheers, I am just going by what I have heard. I shall now use them to store all my duplicates. Then i don't have to worry about using an unleveled item for the damage quest
