Season is ending. How was yours?

With all the updates in between the season, how did you do?

This season was a bit of a struggle, but I came out in 3rd
Started the season by going from 2200 -> 1500 infamy (i was playing shooter and defender instead of fixer, but I was trying every battle and the ships were leveled up, so no tanking haha)
Then began the long hill upwards (its too easy to get stuck down there, with consistently bad team mates)...however got tier 3 feelix, boosted me up a little, but then then the overboost and pulse nerfs happened T-T
Fell from 1900-1600 after the update (which is significant using my main ship), but once I got used to it was able to climb back up
Had some good fleets, some win streaks, Saturday got to 2300 infamy, ace class bb!!
Then I lost some....but then last night I got into another good fleet, went straight up to 2500 infamy! From 54th place in season to 3rd!

This is all really exciting for me as a non paying player that plays fixer haha. Despite all the nerfs, which the overboost one screwed me over many times, everything worked out fine
I definitely had to grind and work my way up!

Last reset I got booted up 2 or 3 leagues, so had no chance at a top spot now. I still managed to beat my personal best infamy by a few hundred though (1946 now), which currently gives me place 31. This is in master div. II, meaning that I'm going to be put in master div. I next league and again not have a chance at a top spot

 

Currently 3rd in Ace 2 .. hoping to hang on for a legend part!

 

Im less than 100 infamy away from division 2, since its at 2600 infamy.
I may try to grind it out, but it would be over reaching, definitely more comfortable with going into ace division 3 for now
Next stop nightmare!

 

Hey man there's another season coming. Keep pushing. I got stuck on 1600 in Master III last season and was pretty dissapointed with myself haha. Didn't stop me though.

 

I've played with you twice. I enjoy the way you use your Speeder haha. I had no idea that you were on top

Thanks man. I get a lot of hate because I die a lot too, but when it works its a very fast crushing win. Its how i think speeders should be played

 

Did pretty damn awesome!! Gained over 500 Infamy the other day to go from Challenger 1 all the way to Master 3. I'll never know what it's like to be in the Warrior League

 

Lol there's no chance of catching up to you!
I had the same experience as you, jumped from Challenger to Master III. Then only gained 200 infamy after that. Master is pretty brutal be careful, lost 600 infamy twice in that league haha

 

Got up to 2100 but not enough to stay in ace leauge. Couldn't win any matches so I started playing a mine laying shooter.

I am now around 1800 infamy. Not a whole lot I can do about it, at least mine laying shooters die faster than any rushing speeder ever would.

 

Good season - Got into an easier Ace 1 this time around and should be able to stay in the top 10.
Peaked at a new personal best despite Repair Pulse nerf - Hoping to sneak past 4k in a month or two!

 

It's ironic how we hit our personal bests despite the nerfs

 

Perhaps less selfhealing available forces smarter playing

 

I dont know. The app malfunctioned, and I've been trying to get it back on for 2 days. BOOHOOHOO. (not at devs, this is device related)

 

Didn't move at all! 2000 at start of the season, 2000 at the end of the season. I've been rolling between 1800 and 2k constantly for several weeks. Several weapons queued for duplicates I can't find, and still several levels away from getting my Mk 5. I'll probably still be at 2000 at the end of next season.

 

@Netsa I assume this was you? If so, I think you were the first forummer I got matched against. I may or may not have gone totally tunnel vision and used all my attacks on you

 

I can't believe I didn't recognize you. I guess those blinders I put on when I'm farming sugar are really effective.
And don't worry, I get tunneled a lot, especially by Defenders. It can work to my favor if I don't die, like I did there.
