Turbo and max speed question

    My MK5 speeder has a base speed of 1.13 and a max speed of 1.7.

    I have a tier 3 epic turbo with some perks on it that currently have it saying it adds 61.5% to my speed.

    By that logic: 1.13*.615=.69495
    Then 1.13+.69495=1.82495

    However, my ship only reads a speed of 1.64...where is the rest of my speed? Why haven't I reached a max speed of 1.7?

    Probably because your base speed of 1.13 already includes buffs from crew training, and the turbo % is taken from the "real" base speed, without crew training.

    I'm pretty sure speed cap is 1.62...

    o_O If you read the original post, you know that the OP said he has 1.64 speed on his speeder and you're sure that the cap is 1.62. How sure are you?

    Speed cap is based on the ship class and MK level.

    Cause my speeder said max speed is 1.62 and max speed has remained the same in previous mks. Same for shooter

    Oh how very nice, speed cap increases for mk5, I'm very happy. Nice agility btw, how helpful is that huge ass agility in dodging?

    The agility helps a lot when brawling - without it I would go around the opponent in a wide circle and their turrets could keep up but with the rudder I can do more of a figure 8 and pass through them or a tight enough circle that I can stay beyond the speed of their turrets

    Does agility have a max too because one day when I'm mk6 defender I want to put on all rudders and do donuts...

    A defender with just agility and no speed wouldn't be that great I think.

    Anyways, all ships have an agility cap of 71.3 degrees and a turret agility of 77 degrees.
    Not sure if the cap changes by classes or ships but I have 2 mk4s and 3 mk3s and both agility caps remains the same for all ships

    Btw, are those crit chance perks?, if they are, no offense but I think those crit chance perks on a blast is a waste. With thise kind of crit chance perks you can seriously consider building a sniper just cause you have those perks.
