Random Shoutout Thread

Shoutout to a guy named stilldojha. He showed up in an 1800 match with a Mk 5. Lots of guys like this, they just waste all their gun slots and never hit anything. This guy, though. 2 Uncommons, 2 Rares, 1 Epic, and he's doing the damage. Match ended with him and a meatshield (a Mk 4 Shooter who brought 3 torpedoes) against 2 Speeders using Tesla Shields. I thought it was all over. He was low, both Speeders were at about 800 health, and his teammate was failing to even hit walls.

Then, one of his mines goes off! BOOM, instantly kills one Speeder who thought he could hide behind a rock until his weapons came off cooldown. He turns around, aims a Berta at the other Speeder. He tries to block it, gets his shield sniped off at the last second, and BOOM! Game over! This guy just won a fight against two Speeders with only 200 health left and no healing. Nice job, stilldojha! Since you obviously know what the "Shoot" means in "Shooter", I really hope you climb up the ranks.

(Just joking about the "meatshield" guy. He's not the first person to bring all torpedoes, and it can work great against certain comps. It just so happened this match that everyone was really spread out and half the enemy team was Speeders.)

Hey he was on my team as Well! Although he had three mines XD .
Not my proudest moment though

 

From the looks of it, this guy knows what he's doing with mines.
Hey, if keeps putting out damage like that, he can bring 5 mines for all I care. Make the field completely untraversable.

 

The most ironic part was that he died to a fixers mine thinking it was his own XD. Look at the fixer with 412 damage.

 

The irony is real.

 

I like this thread. Sometimes you really want to thank people and never can. Here's a couple:
Shoutout to these fixers who kept me alive against nearly the whole team.


Shoutout to this fixer Beanstalk77 who was left alone with against two shooters. I was useless as you can see. Takes out the first with the last guy Chanakya having 3k health. He had a T3 sniper and ended up taking Chanakya out with 4 seconds left. It was epic to watch. Played the very next match with him and he sat there healing me while I took on 3 mortarers. Needless to say, we won.

 

Shout out to the fixer on my team, healing over 13000 damage. Unfortunately we still lost.

 

To the unfriends top dmg dealer. That was a crazy battle.

 

Big up the fixers, excellent work here.
I'd have been done for if Alfrex hadn't saved me first though.

We fleeted a few times, and we won all matches thanks to him.

Unfortunatly you can't see it on the result screen since it only shows his damage. But in the matches we did he was constantly distracting the enemies wich caused them to waste all of their shots giving my team the oppertunity to destroy the enemies.

Finally a speeder that actually knows what he is doing. Even tough he didn't deal alot of damage, he was the reason we won by simply distracting the enemy. He just proved that damage isn't everything.

 

Hurray for tesla bolt. Gotta love making enemies useless

I actually got the idea from some Gamefaqs forums I used to post on, for Smash Bros. Since online matches had no way of communication, a few people had posted a string of topics to thank/flame players for great/bad fights. I thought it might be a good idea here, too. Player stilldojha had broken a string of disappointing matches and restored my willingness to keep watching a fight after dying, so I thought I should do something to thank him.

 

This forum needs to be a sticky and be the official thread to thank and appreciate players

 

Shout out to all my teammates that didn't suck and helped me get to 3rd in my league so far x)

 

Shout out to my teammates (lower 3) to fuck up a good game but also making me complete an achievement!!
And to all other team mates I found during these 3 days, who made me loose constantly & not letting me get back to 1700+ Infamy.... Really appreciate your help.
