How's my shooter loadout?

I just started using the rail gun so it isn't that high of a level. I like it though. Can't wait until I can train for it!

 

Just got a firebomb. Should i use that?

 

I'd trade flare gun for the firebomb. Flare gun is more of a speeder/enforcer weapon

I love rail gun omg, there was like 10 seconds left on the clock, I had a 1v1 with speeder, I had 2,400 HP, while speeder had 400ish. He figured he couldn't win so he sped away super fast behind cover, I take aim, lead shot, shoot rail gun, BOOM!!!! HAHAHA felt great

 

The fire bomb is a good move, I have always wanted to use railgun but I already have 2 very good 2 slot weapons

 

Consider switching out one of your cannons for a sniper. If you look at all of the shooters in Pro-Nightmare league, 99% use a sniper. It's an absolute necessity (my opinion only).

If you have to get rid of something, lose the blast cannon. The tradeoff between blast and sniper in Bhurt's skill tree means that you can have one superb sniper/blast, and one crappy sniper/blast, or two mediocre sniper/blast. The talent split between sniper/blast and cannon aren't as important though, so if you have to keep your cannon, go for it.

 

I mean I could do that....if I had a sniper cannon lol. I might try that assuming I can ever get a rare sniper

 

100% change firebomb for flaregun. Flaregun isn't great on ships that usually aren't in super close combat. You also want a weapon that can go over walls as all yours are either point damage or have small arcs. Firebomb is super strong, and will fill that spot nicely. Otherwise good setup. Only change the blast cannon if you end up getting a decent sniper cannon. Otherwise your setup is nice!!

 

Maybe add 1 motar for farther shots.

 

Everyone's gonna have different opinions so find what u like best. I agree with others that flare gun is more of a speeder weapon and fire bomb is fun. I love the grenade launcher. That thing is fast and devastating, good for hitting speeders. Hold onto your best non-shooter items cause you'll probably end up using at least one other ship.
