Dear devs and admins, is it really fair for us to lose infamy like this?

Alright, so please tell me how we could ever hope to win a match like this, I'm all ears. And please tell me how this is fair matchmaking with equal winning chances.

 

I've fought against a mk5 shooter with 2 mk4 fixers and 3 mk4 shooters vs a floater, mk4 enforcer (me), 2 mk4 shooters and a mk3 defender..... I lost needless to say

 

I would have just went and suicided on that matchup... Lol

 

I just noticed it now, but look at the name of the enforcer on my team. Totally fitting for that situation; "Dont waste time"

I did try my best tough, but all of their speeders had 500 to 1000 more hp than me, and the weapons of that mk6 were twice as strong as my own... It felt like trying to kill a lion with a butter knife

 

Or like a fixer trying to kill an enemy with repair pulse xD

 

The right option is not saying how to win but how to conquer ... If you have trouble with high MK5-6's then find someone that can help you ... Im MK4 in 2200 infamy and Im playing with my friend we both have speeder with full mine's all we do is locking them on place and then capturing , becouse mines deal so much dmg even blue lvl10 deals about 750-800 no crit ... And thats a lot even for MK5's and if you can make mines Tier 3 or Epic tier 2 , then you will have no problem ...

And I have a little trick for you, Sometime theres a fixer in ally team , and when he put down heal box I always throw one mine right on it becouse low heal enemy can think its theyr box and run on mine causing him 850-1,500 fatal dmg ... Hopefully I helped you , Have fun.

I was pretty sure we'd lose this one, but you can beat the odds sometimes.

 

Think about it this way. You are that good to be battling someone higher level than you but not necessarily better in skill.

On paper it looks like you already lost but tides can change. 1 Big Torpedo hit can change the game.

 

Oh you think that's bs? Here's me after some tutorial matches.

 

The old draw system was better because It gave the 1 speeder vs 4 shooter a chance to not lose everything because of a junk team
However now it's more of a roll over and give up type of thing

 

The problem with that is , that you have to carry the team in these situations and your load out was great for countering em

 

Sh!t happens, but just deal with it - like we did

 

I'm a MK5 Defender with mostly rare equipment and captain level 38 battling against MK6 and MK7 captain level 40+ with legendaries all the time. Lose 2 and win 3, some times lose 6 in a row, but it is part of the game. I move between 2850 to 3450 of infamy and yet haven't being able to break the 3500 barrier, but don't lose hope, I'm right there. So, same to you, don't lose hope and learn from your mistakes, just don't do the same things all the time. Adapt, change, upgrade, try new things. Skills will overcome gear deficiency for sure. Just keep trying and reward will come soon.

Anything is possible in this game, win/lose sometimes feels almost random
Not quite as bad as your line up, but here's one from today. Mostly MK4s vs all MK5 with better equipment.
(and then, one of the games after this I exited spawn, caught a torpedo, died, and did exactly 0 dmg..)

 

Well ... On the other side ... Look at this, OK he got most dmg but he got destroyed in fucking in 1v1 mid range fight against another mk4 shooter , not even close fight ... Why does totall idiots has to always have the best weapons?! If I had inventory like him ... i woild be 3k + Infamy with MK4 shooter no problem! But im forced to play with blue torpedo t1 epic blast cannon t1 and epic mine t1 ... We need some events to declare IQ of players!!!!!
