Since it's a hybrid class, there's multiple ways to play Enforcer. Quick definitions since I'm just making up terminology here, here's the big three I've come up with:

Flankforcer - More of a Speeder-type Enforcer. Uses speed buffs to flank the enemy, then engages single targets.
Danceforcer - Defender-type Enforcer or, as I like to call them, the "Deforcer". Uses his high acceleration to "dance" in front of the team and attract attention. Essentially a dodge-tank, gives his team more time to do damage.
Antiforcer - More of a Shooter-type Enforcer. Uses his turret speed to protect vulnerable teammates from enemy flankers.
Frostforcer - Fixer-type Enforcer or, you could say, the "Supforcer". Uses Frosts and Bolts to disable the enemy, and makes use of the chat system to call out fragile foes.

You could argue that a great Enforcer would be doing all of these things, but that's why I made this thread. They contradict each other. If I flank the enemy, I can't protect my team. If I'm protecting my team from the front, I can't protect them from the back. If I'm protecting their flank, I can't protect them from the front. Over time I've slowly morphed between all three of these play styles, and I can't decide which is the best for my win rate. Here's the problem I'm having with each style.

First is Deforcer, since @P0rthos likes to promote this one a lot. I usually don't feel quite right playing it since I tend to just get spammed with mortars. The mortars don't have to actually hit me, they force me to move in one direction so I'm not dancing anymore. After the Overboost nerf, I can't dodge the mortars all that quickly unless I bring either a second Overboost or a Nitro. I can't do that without dropping the Tesla Shield until Mk 6. I need the Tesla Shield for late-match situations, since speed alone won't save me once the enemy starts getting closer. I could drop it anyway and trade my late-game to buff my early-game but I don't know if that's the way to go. Another problem with this play style is that with the current trend towards camping and Sniper Cannons, I'm usually out of range. I can't move forward without getting mobbed by cannons, or worse, dragging my Fixer out to die with me. My only choice is to just do no damage for half the match or level a Sniper Cannon (from zero, since I don't have one).

Second is Flankforcer. I feel bad since I'm leaving my team behind. If I get countered I can't retreat, but even if it goes well I'm worried that my team will get wrecked if I'm not there. If my team dies while I'm assassinating a Shooter or locked in battle with a Speeder, is that my fault? I know that if I'm successfully distracting or killing someone, the rest of my team isn't fighting a 4v5. That doesn't mean they're okay, though, since there's no one to attract damage for them.

Third is Antiforcer. Sometimes, this turns into regular Deforcer since the enemy team doesn't have any balls. Other times, it's a situation similar to what I was talking about with Flankforcer. I turn around to kill the Speeder firing torpedoes or laying mines behind us, and my team gets destroyed on the front lines. Sometimes, it's multiple Speeders back there, no one else turned around, and I die from the 1v2 or 1v3. If I ignore them, our back line just dies. I can't shoot backward while keeping my ship dancing on the front lines because then I'm not looking forward. If I'm not looking, torpedoes will hit me. It's not fear, it's a fact, it happens every single time. As soon as I turn my back, I get hit with a torpedo. Sometimes, several at once.

Fourth is Frostforcer. I haven't tried this one, since I'm a selfish git who considers himself more of a damage dealer. Once I acquire the items, I'll give this a go and see how it works out.

    TL;DR
    How2Enforcer? What do?

    Edit:
    Added @disorder's Frostforcer.

I use. My enforcer like a controler, no nitto, no teslashield, no overboost, but frost launcher, teslabolt, frostblaster.
1 frost launcher frost large area, useful for stop a band of boat
2 teslabolt : really stop a flank attack for few second
3 frost launcher :a stop for speeder, or give the possibility to run away with ease.

With the ability to change target easily, its for me the best choice i made

Interesting play style, can you elaborate a bit about your weapon layout and how effective is this play style (read rewards and stars at the end of the match )

will try...sorry for my bad english.

at mk4, i've tried many weapons : blast, canon, mortar, grenade, flare gun.
    my buil is blast/mortar.
mortar is better than grenade just because of range, it's nearly the same than frost launcher, and nearly the same than my blast.
blast... well, better than canon, boat got too much HP, and cant use canon with teslabolt cos of short timer of canon.

for blue support i use turbo lvl30 blue, an standard shield epic lvl11

    my gameplay (when it works)
=> run for find group of opponent, i say target X, then use frost launcher/blast/mortar/ running out => go back to team
in general, all shooter love to use mortar/missile/ on frost band.
frost launcher is really useful, you can use it at long range or really short range, so always useful...

in general there is always a boat alone, so after my frost launch i try to use teslabolt on it (it prevents flanker, and teammate prefer focus on frost band than on stunboat.
    => teslabolt
the best item for me, you attack an opponent (mortar/blast) and a tesla, it helps me to not be attack, and give me enough time for use again mortar/blast)
it's really work when teammate wait end of teslabolt for firing...
i can nearly kill a standard shooter/defender alone with this (8s of stun enough for using again weapon)

=>frostblaster : was using it, but will use it again at mk6...
a totally stop machine, long target, quick attack. stop heal... a good way for help teammate frost mean attack this ^^

so i'm using frostlauncher for front attack, and teslabolt/frostblaster for flanker or back.
when well use, all teammate stay alive. i've no fear of fixer/speeder. but use "targetX" everytime you frost a boat.

I guess we're adding Frostforcer to the list. :)
That's playing full support, that's pretty rare. There are Fixers that don't have that much faith in their teams. I really wish this game worked differently so I could switch to your build and try it out. I need to find and farm up a Bolt and Frost Launcher, though.

In the meantime, I'll go ahead and add your style to the OP.

ok thanks, i love controler or tank, so enforcer seem the best for control.
will do a video as soon as possible for this gameplay.

Enforcer us a hybrid ship that can be played in multiple styles

But most of the styles you mentioned are kind of pointless for the following reasons

It's a hybrid ship meaning it can do 2 or more of roles of other ships but only half as good as the original ship

If you are building your ship to fulfill the role of ONE other ship

You are probably not utilizing it enough

    If you want to defend

    Play a defender instead

    If you want to shoot

    Pick a shooter

If you want to flank and distract

    Pick speeder

Almost every style you mentioned is a style that some other ship can do better

If you want to get the best out of enforcer

Then you have to focus on what it can do best and use it's abilities to the highest

Enforcer has the highest turret agility in the game

If you want the best out of enforcers, you need to equip it with point and shoot items

Enforcer can get down and dirty with close quaters combat thanks to the control slots

The best way to play enforcer according to my opinion is to play the support enforcer

Equip with frost blaster/launcher and tesla bolt

You can stun flanking speeders with this

You can freeze and slow enemy shooters and make it easy for your friends to finish them off

And you can get your attention back to the speeder thanks to your badass turret agility.
(Using frost on speeders, fixers and other enforcers is a bad idea cause they often have nitro and make it pointless, stun them instead).

Speeders can flank better, defenders can defemd better and shooters attack better so if you want to do any if the above 3

    Pick those ships instead

Support enforcer is the best way to play enforcer (It has more control slots than fixer, besides, fixers should focus their control items on surviving and helping them heal instead, like nitro, tesla shield and bolt rather than supporting their shooters)

Anyone who tells you that there's a "best way" to play a hybrid boat doesn't understand what the term "hybrid" means.
I think you have laid out 4 very different and fun play styles for the enforcer. I won't elaborate on those because I think you did a good job, but I will point out a few itemization things to think about.
Frost items get an increase to slow, not duration, as you upgrade them. The duration is pretty low, not much more than the global cooldown. You have to get duration perks to make these useful to yourself, though they are useful to your teammates without the duration. If you frost launch and then mortar or torp, by the time your mortar or torp reaches the target, they may not be frozen any more without duration perks. Both torps and mortars get a bonus against frosted targets.
Tesla shield can make you just as tanky as a defender if you can dodge out of harms way when it is down. At higher Mk ships, you can use two if you want to go that way. This can make the enforcer a better "tank" than a defender on certain maps with very few wide open areas.
Playing like a speeder is a good idea, but the biggest difference is that the enforcer gets 3 one slot weapons, and the speeder gets a 2 slot and a 1 slot.

*Cough Cough* Hybrid boat means "Of mixed character of multiple boats" *Cough Cough*

*Cough cough* The term you are looking for is "versatile" *cough cough*

No, the term I was "looking for" is hybrid. I think the OP is right that there are lots of ways to play the enforcer as a mix between two ships. You, on the other hand, think there is only one way to play the enforcer, which is your own prerogative. If there is only one way to play enforcer, it is neither hybrid or versatile. According to you, it has one clearly defined purpose and role, which makes it a unique ship that has a unique responsibility. I disagree.

    You are very accurate

The ship is a loke a fusion of many ships that is meant to be played in multiple ways.

I merely felt that the play styles mentioned by the op were not really a "mix" of 2 ships but merely an enforcer trying to be like a speeder, shooter, defender etc.

I claimed that to utilize the ship to the best, we need to exploit the ships best characteristics

Enforcer has 3 weapon slots and 3 yellow slots and it has THE highest turret agility so I mentioned that using point and shoot items on an enforcer is probably the best way to play it

I NEVER claimed there is only ONE way to play it

I claimed that playing enforcer to mimic another ship is probably pointless as playing speeder or defender directly would be a more effective way of fulfilling said role
    Instead of using an enforcer.

And before you claim I'm wrong in saying so, the op asked for opinions and I gave him mine

    That's it

Kindly read properly before claiming somebody's info as wrong

I never said you were wrong, in fact quite the opposite. I said I disagreed with you, still do. I outlined a number of ways in which the enforcer can be better than a defender at tanking, and better than a speeder at flanking. I also explained how an enforcer could use frost blaster/launcher in combination with non-point damage weapons like torps and mortars which is another place in which I disagree with you. I also stated I believe that there isn't a best way to play a hybrid.

I think the OP did an excellent job listing multiple ways to play the enforcer and I think they are all valid.

In the end like all things in this game and to address the OP concerns, it will depend on what the game gives you in items. If you have a good 2 slot weapon, you don't want to play the enforcer at all. Eventually you will have to get rid of it. If, however, you get an amazing frost launcher and Tesla shield along with a bunch of good one slot weapons, enforcer will likely be the best option for you. One of the most frustrating things about the enforcer is the changes in items as you level. It extremely hard to utilize the same weapons all the way to the mk 6 ship. To be honest, I have tried the enforcer at mk 4 with some success using torpeedos and frost/tesla (pre nerf), but don't really feel its viable until mk 5 when it gets the 3 weapon slots and 3 red points. It also needs tesla shield to survive which is one of the hardest items to level (buzzkill being the most expensive and time consuming crew to train). With the recent nerf to tesla shield, its pretty much useless until its ranked up because the hp boost doesn't overcome the flat 4s stun you get when it breaks. Mk 5 is that sweet spot where you get three weapons, tesla, and then speed or frost items to fulfill whichever role you want.

I love the Enforcer because in my opinion (I'm aloud to have my opinion) its variety means it has the most potential for skillful play, people who go in with strategy and tactics. ships like the Defender although also requiring skill and strategy are basic ships that many times are just basic point and shoot. It doesn't take long to master a defender, shooter strategy... Enforcer has so many styles, there's always new thing to try, new way to approach. anyway, its what I love about the Enforcer

You don't actually have to fill out all 3 slots, there's nothing in the rules that says you can't use a Bigpedo on a Mk 6 Enforcer. A Flare-double-Blast might be able to do a lot of damage to a single target, but AoE weapons don't have to be thrown out. A freeze-torpedo from a flanker is nothing to sneeze at, and Enforcer isn't any less capable of doing it than Speeder is. There's just a certain amount of OCD that comes out when you see an empty hole... ...or, uhh...

    Well

At the end of the day

Everything I said is my opinion

    Anyways

Enforcer is an amazing ship but it requires skill, A LOT of it

I believe that's why not many people play enforcer

We certainly need more enforcers, I hope people reading this thread would get inspired to play enforcer

enforcer is a support class, but telling that it's more difficult than other to master is a strange things...
a defender is difficult to master too, like all tank class ... in most massive game trying to protect other is a stressplay, really difficult. all class are difficult to master (except if they play solo, i don't care about these player)

    Again, that's my opinion

I tried out all the ships except fixer when I first started

And enforcer was the hardest to play

I played the enforcer better than speeder

But to me, speeder was easier to play than enforcer despite giving me inferior results

This was back when I first started ofc, I may find it easier now that I have a better hang of the game, but investing in a new set of items and a ship I ignored for a long time would be very tiring

    ok,

i've tried speeder, and find it far more difficult, because i've start with enforcer...
it's so easy to rotate with enforcer, i'm habit with it, so when i tried speeder, i wanted to act like enforcer, and always finished in wall and this fucking boat don't rotate at all...
