    The UX is relevant if you read my post. I was talking about how to design fleeting with more than one person. But hey, why let facts get in the way...

    UX terminology is way too broad. I also have a long list of clients, and I've been in the UX industry for 18 years with my own studio and working for a Digital agency. Let's not measure that as it's off topic. Good User Experience is already there, and that's how it hooks people into the game.

    The system that needs work isn't the infamy system. It's not a UX issue, it's more game logic and statistics and how it rates the player. Only way to fix this issue is how the matches are determined.

    What Fleet UX? It already exists in the game? Kinda weird that you're talking about it as if it doesn't exist. You can already fleet with more than one player?

    If you mean your not so elaborate post about using the flawed star contribution system as a replacement to reward different grades of infamy, that's why I say it's wrong and it would be a negative user-experience because:
    • Rewarding based on performance would not be fair and would promote more selfish tactics like "camping, kill steals, purposely loading in items that earn easy contribution (spam easy weapons), adopting a specific build or class that would generally make easier points etc"
    • Too hard to measure and would expose the imperfect-ness of the star system (exploiting it maybe?). We already have people questioning the star system, and there's a reason why Rovio doesn't expose it in its entirety. It's because they know that if the exact algorithm is release, it can be taken advantaged of. That's a flawed system.
    The current fleet system isn't working well as it seems to lax the matchmaker a bit more to cause more infamy disparity ie; high level nighmare players matching with 2600 MK4 players on the same team, and the opposing team gets nightmare and 3k and up. If the matchmaker was improved, that would solve the Fleeting system a bit better.

    Because you're too freaking dense to understand it on your own... Here is what i said:

    "Give us 3 team fleets. Hell, I'll even offer my services for free to help design the UX for how to fleet more than one person. And I design UX for a living..."

    Can you figure it out now? If you comment again i'll just put you on ignore.

    Yes, I missed that "3" part. However, Rovio has already said that their current Fleet system already supports more than 2 player Fleets. They can simply increase the allowed fleet number to do it, the problem is that the user base isn't broad or rich enough to start using 3 player fleets. They even said that the matches wouldn't be fair with lots of infamy disparity(so it wouldn't be enjoyable, bad UX). Which is my point, that they need to revamp the matchmaker.


    I can say you're equally dense too Marauder, but I won't go there. Can't you discuss this without getting personal?

    I was about to like this post after the first half of the first sentence. The rest of it were just crazy. Let me give you an example from a match I was in yesterday.

    Foundry. Me and 3 other teammates were battling and sunk in about 2 minutes with about 1400-1800 damages done to the other team. I was the second one sunk and watch an MK4 shooter with 4 torpedoes camping far away behind an object sneak out and fire torpedoes and hide again. After all his teammates sunk, the other team regroup to heal and charged at him. He charged out and managed to get 2 rounds (8 shots of torpedoes) at the group of enemies. He sunk one then got sunk. At the end of the screen, it showed he did almost 6K damages and got 2 stars.

    According to your proposal, people will start doing similar things. The current system is fine. I get bad teammates, so does the other team. I myself was bad in a lot of battles. I was trying, just made some missteps.

    To all other making similar suggestions, think about what you'll be complaining in that system.

    You need to calm down. I was only responding to the guys post... not yours. Also I liked your post because when I did take the time to read YOUR post I understood someone had already said what I had said. No need to be rude.
