ALL FIXERS SHOULD HAVE THIS!!!!

The healing bolt, unlike other healing weapons doesn't require you to be close to heal and it does so in large numbers all in one go, far better than the box launcher. You don't have to worry about the waves because it glides all the way, I've recently switched to a fixer and i can't see how other fixers don't use this weapon

 

Too early for people who have invested in other items to throw them away and start again.

But I agree it opens up some new options. Will be interesting to see how it works out.

 

Well do what i do invest all your gold and sugar into building up that one specific item without swapping it out for the weapons you normally roll with

 

What infamy level are you playing at?

Sub 1000 run what you want, but replacing epics, or high rares takes time

 

I like many things about the Bolt aswell, here is my guess as to why you dont see it used much;
1. Its a new item, finding duplicates and leveling it to a useable level takes time.
2. It competes with Healing Pulse, not Box. Pulse heals for alot more, healing multiple people and it heals yourself.

Mechanically the Bolt is amazing - In practice its healing done is low for a 2p, its cd is massive and the talents you need to ditch to make Bolt useful are for the most part quite good. Im sure they will take a look at the numbers and make it stronger eventually.

Plenty of things you could do to make it more useful (obviously not all at once)
- Have it remove burning damage rather than frost (far too niche)
- Make it a 1p (2p is brutal for a non aoe, zero selfheal)
- Increase hps (either bump amount healed or lower cooldown)
- Rework Felix tree (8% HP, 75hp and 10% worse healing Pulse is painful)
- Add a selfheal option (or selfheal for x %'s)

 

If you talking about replacing rares with rares or epics with epics then i strongly suggest you do that but replacing a rare with an epic you are accustomed to using makes no sense at all

 

he is just saying that fixers that play with even teir 2 rares or epics wont be able to make a switch to repair bolt for awhile, since it takes time to replace these things.
As a fixer running pulse and box, bolt is not helpful at all as long as its worth 2 slot points. maybe as a mk5 i could run bolt and pulse....still dont think its worth it, would rather do pulse box box or double pulse.
If devs could make it a little more powerful, it might be workable.
And no, nerfing repair pulse again to even the items is not a good idea. It is hard enough as is, too hard. thankss

 

I tried a rare bolt for a few games and it is pure crap compared to pulse and I did more healing with my box. Making it take one spot and remove fire and it would be balanced


I'm suspecting that OP wants unfriendlies to use a sub-par thing so his fights are easier

 

The bolt is nice because teammates usually run away from the healer, and they usually are dead by the time I catch up. in the rare case when multiple teammates stick close by the odds of winning increase substantially.

 

i think the bolt is nice when u got other fixer to help heal you up.

 

@op, since you like it so much, why not post battle results where you healed a lot using healing bolt?
