I'm a mk3 fixer with a L19 uncommon overboost. I didn't really use it until after the nerf but I'm having a really hard time trying to move around the map with it. Like I can't get to my teammates in time before they die.

Sounds like you need some turbo in your life.

I pulled a rare Nitro should I use that instead?

Maybe until you find a turbo to level up. Nitro is good for dodging mortars & (sometimes) slow projectiles. If you can't keep up with your team it's turbo you need. Will increase your overboost speed too.

I only have an uncommon overboost. Even though pulse is nerfed will I still be alright with a turbo?

Also am I blind or do we not have a "rate my build" subforum?

personally I would pull the band-aid and put the turbo in, the speed boost will help the team more than the band-aid. I tried this on my fixer and the slow sluggish speed wasn't worth the tiny little heal the band-aid gave (tiny compared to the 2-3k shots I'm taking)

After a week or so analysis of the overboost reduction duration and cooldown. It hasn't drastically changed my results or play style. I'm still within the same infamy range of 3300-3500.

As a speeder, I'm one of the stay close by, scout and distract slightly ahead, stick with the pack and look for openings, heavily used obstacles and cover/terrain/waves to be evasive on top of the speed. Positioning of your speeder will always trumps speed, which requires you to constantly look at the mini-map to see where my team and opponents are.

I am slightly more cautious and aware than before on when to use Overboost and when to combine with Nitro to get out of thick and sticky situations.
