A heartfelt apology

I had just refreshed my quest list and it gave me "use your fave wep - missiles". Well Ive only got rare lev11 missiles with just 3 projectiles but i needed the 100k gold so...

I sincerely apologise for being a drain on anyone who was teamed up with me earlier this morning

 

Hey, if you gotta do an achievement you gotta do it. I wouldn't have passed up 100k gold either, haha.

 

Would have done the same. Btw, do you know you can control which weapons you get quests for? It only chooses from the ones you have equipped on boats.

 

I honestly wouldn't worry about it but if you would like to avoid having the weapons you're not ready to use show up in missions just make sure you only use ships to store duplicates of the weapons you're already using and keep the ones that are underleveled in your inventory. Then you won't have that happen again.

 

It usually picks one you have equipped but in rare cases it will pick one you don't have equipped.

Tbf ive got two rare missiles parked in my shooter ( i use a mk4 defender ) but waiting to get the +1 projectile ability before i go to town on upgrading it

I've passed up 300k in gold and no longer get achievements because I refuse to do do them when I don't use those items. Thanks Rovio.

 

As has been pointed out, you only get assigned weapons equipped on your ships. Don't equip weapons you don't want assigned, and you will be all good.

 

But when you start out you don't know what you will be using. So I tried out other weapons early on and now my achievements are locked up with achievements I will never complete. If I only would have known the future... lol

 

At least it happened early on and you know now. It is much worse when you move up levels and upgrade equipment. I learned when I first started playing too. There were no tasks I could not complete when forced, however..it was just painful and slower.

 

I only pass up gold achievements if they say "win battles with (any boat besides speeder)"

 

Are you aware you can reroll quests? There's a little button for it in the quest window.
