Lost 9 games in a row :P it sucks!!

Im new to this game but not very happy atm; lost 9 games in a row and i dont know if this is how the game is meant to be but FFS it sucks!! Really enjoyed this game until now. Im doing really good and got myself a better ship and better weapons but now im always teamed with the worst of players. Can anyone please elaborate on this and please let me know if this is normal for new players? I have a guild member with a shit ship and shitty guns but yet he is over 500 infamy and ive dropped down to 144 Infamy when i used to be 408. Please fix this game devs. I dont think its fair Infamy is based on teamwork when teams are made of try hard to lose losers.

 

Tell me about it, so unfair that a multiplayer teamgame is based upon teamwork.

All the trolls come tumbling in... Guys and Girls i did say please elaborate if losing 9 games in a row is a normal thing in this game

 

FYI, you aren't perfect, you account for 20% percent of the team. So i'd suggest you look at your previous battles and learn from those mistakes.

 

From looking at all these battles i placed in the top 2 in every one of them. Like i said in the OP i keep getting teamed with try hard to lose losers

 

So? The leaderboard isnt everything. Reflect on your performance IN battle, not the post-battle stats. Obviously you have to be doing something wrong to score in the top 2 but lose.

 

Get used to it or get off.

Everyone who plays will go through this, keep playing to get your items leveled up and you will gain infamy as you progress.

 

It's totally normal. You sometimes lose 10 games in a row and then win them back soon.

 

Thank You for these 2 replys; its good to know that this does happen sometimes and ill try to keep it positive. This is a great game.

 

It is great, as long as you invest some time, the loss streaks won't come as often and you'll have tons of fun.

 

You will have much much worse times on Battle Bay, we all do. Just don't worry about it, you'll get your infamy back sooner or later

 

Maybe, need better communication skills. The current buttons not helping. Or some like to go off their own and try solo like some speeders (rolls eyes). Atm it's divide and conquer. And some of the player's here never played as a team before. I still say fleet 5 and/or mentor to teach new players only way to win is team effort. If your losing, do a change of pace use fixer (80% chance they will follow you) well only if you're a well known fixer.

 

Just keep playing, at low levels you should dominate and rise back up. Then use that momentum to keep climbing. Change up your weapons, step away for a few when you get on tilt. It happens to all of us don't listen to the trolls that just want to flame.

 

I get that feeling all the time. Like these match ups. Why should I even bother?

 

Hey hey hey people chill down. And yes, Kustomz, this happens all the time. Eventually your wins will overcome your losses, and you'll advance. To circumvent this as much as possible, try fleeting up with somebody around your infamy that you know plays well. Then if you and your teammate do well enough, it accounts for 40% of the team. Also try to not play too much on weekends, everybody seems to especially bad on weekends. I also am decently new to the game, and I remember being stuck around 300-400 infamy for a while. Just keep on trying

 

You'll always win roughly 50% and lose roughly 50% in the end, that's how the game is set up. That, of course, does not mean you'll win --> lose --> win --> lose etc... everyone has their win streaks and loss streaks. And yes, I've definitely lost 9 in a row before. More too. But I've also won 12 in a row. It's all part of the game.

 

Definitely get accustomed to it, streaks are very common in Battle Bay. Fleet with friends as much as possible and then both of you follow another player on your team, at least 3 of you will be together and it will increase your odds of winning.
