    Dear devs,
Please consider buffing the duct tape to self heal more as it's still widely under utilized (I pay close attention to my fellow fixers both friendly and unfriendly alike). I've crunched the numbers on possible fixer loadouts and heals per sec and such, and every loadout with duct tape ends up last on overall healing ability. For example, MK5 and up loadouts like double pulse or pulse/box/box are better at overall healing ability than say a pulse/box/duct tape. To put it simply....the tape still sucks. Give us fixer bros and gals something to hold on to at night. I was looking forward to creating a heal bolt/box/duct tape combo, but fluff that. Plus the duct tape feels too selfish and goes against the fixer code. Please make it worth while or watch it sit on the shelf. Thanks for reading (hopefully)

Not to mention a tesla bolt shot makes a fixer's duct tape go to waste

I have seen several fixers who still play with repair pulse and repair boxes instead of ductape, and they really manage to turn the match around.

I have also seen several fixers with ducttape. Most of them (I repeat most of them) are fixers who think they are a speeder and defender combined. They think it's a smart idea to rush directly in front of 5 enemies.

Ill bet you almost every Fixer plays the exact same setup as before -- It takes months to build viable alternative items & the alternatives just arent there atm.

    2 roads from here:
    a. Keep nerfing Repair Pulse till it (and the fixerclass) becomes unplayable.
    b. Buff the alternatives so they become real alternatives.

Maybe they shouldn't have made such a useless item in the first place in a team game, I agree they'll just nerf everything until people have to use it considering their current trend.

A really good bandage can work wonders and you wouldn't have to use a green slot for the duct tape.

    Forumname = Ingame name.

Would you loose the 1-1.5k hp from not running a shield or drop the Turbo?

I would argue that Fixers have the least choice in the blue department of all the ships (perhaps Enforcer is equally locked) -- No sense playing without Turbo & being a very low hp ship already you are almost in 1shot territory without the shield.

Depends on how many blue slots/points you have. If you use overboost then you can probably skip turbo, but i wouldn't replace a shield with a low-powered bandage.

    It sure does -- Mk4, 5, 6 & 7 Fixer can equip 2 blue items for a total of 2p combined.
I can understand your logic behind suggesting Bandage, but in practice you need the shield to combat the low starting hp & a Turbo will indirectly heal you for much more than a bandage ever could & make sure you can be where you need to be to heal.

No actual choice to make in the blue department

Well then I would go with the pulse over the duct tape and bob & weave a lot. :) The pulse will heal you and your teammates and even though it's 50% less, it can still probably do a better job than duct tape.

Aye, apart from low level play Duct Tape doesn't make much sense -- It would need to heal more or instant to be worthwhile from mk5+.

Pulse is a 2p item, Duct Tape 1p - So they are mostly not fighting for the same slot.
