how do i Evolve my cannon?

    new to this game... i have a level 10 Uncommon Cannon so i go to evolve it and it says im missing an Uncommon Cannon!? wtf, its right there... so i go to the shop to buy another one but there is no option to buy another one. How do i do this?

    What you will need to do, is find a second uncommon cannon. This can be done by opening chests for the most part, and collecting game rewards. Part pieces help with higher tier items. It seems slow, but it's not too bad, just focus on gathering and upgrading other items. Later on, you will find rares t be the backbone of your ships, but uncommons are completely fine at the beginning.

    The reason that you can't just buy duplicate items, is to reduce the effect of p2win. It seems counterintuitive at first, but by allowing you to buy duplicate items, it encourages money spenders more than raw activity (which DOES net you decent rewards, actually). By making it random, they limit the amount that people can and will spend on this game. Legendary weapons occasionally pop up but they won't be upgraded much at all, for instance.

    Just an FYI, many other games with tier systems will require you to have multiple copies to upgrade tiers.

    thats sort of impossible though, short of actually eliminating microtransactions. at least it feels like it slows them :(

    I've played against lots of tier 2 and 3 legendaries. I think there's no hope xD
