Hi everyone! Since the recent update l, I just wanted to see if fixers were utilizing duct tape or not? I'm an Mk4 fixer that uses epic heal pulse (lvl 10) and rare box launcher (lvl 10). Just recently got a rare duct tape in a star crate and was wondering if it's worth it? I'm only lvl 23, so I can't upgrade my fixer to an mk5 till lvl 29 ( which would be better because I could incorporate the duct tape while still using the other two items) but, I can't :(

So yes fellow fixers, is it worth it?

OH! And also, the repair bolt don't know much about it. But want to get one in the future. Any pros and cons anyone could list? Thank you! And if there is a thread pertaining to the repair bolt just link me if you can.

Thank you all so much!!! Happy battling!

Just go speeder. It's the only way to guarantee an advantage.

Save up uncommon duct tapes and get it to level 30. It will do much better than a level 10 rare

I can see a new fixer play style using bolt/duct tape combo becoming a thing if both items get a bit of buffs. Pulse/box is the only working combo at the moment and that makes fixers a bit predictable in matches.

Predictable or not, try to reach that fixer without dying while 4 other boats are focusing attacks on you

Quite often the strategy is to ignore fixers altogether and focus on one defender/shooter. Fixers have low dps, so the matches become easier if the damage-dealer ratio comes down from 4v5 to 3v5. Also, pulse tends to clump the team up, whereas bolt allows players to spread much further. There are so many things that can change by having fixers less predictable.
