Enough is enough

There is a reason why I had rated BB 1 star in Google play and not changed it since the 1st nerf occurance to RG- because I know they will continue to do so over and over again.

Each nerf to fixer and RG, I had stuck to my ship (fixer) and guns (RG) and prove that skill will prevail. Sadly, enough is enough.Obviously the developers have a great bias towards their yellow ship (speeder) by the very fact most of them use the speeder in game. Fixers.... seldom.

I'm not sure where you developers are drawing your conclusions on balance, but I got to say you got it very wrong with this one. Till then, this game will miss one of its finest fixers. Good luck and may the nerf forever hit your face.

In the time you have taken to post this drivel another x thousand new players have signed up to a more balanced and improved game.

Yellow ships are definitely the devs' favourites. That's why they would never nerf overboost or tesla shield.

Best boat pre patch = Speeder.
Best boat post patch = Speeder.

Disclaimer: Talking about peak level of the game, I get that low level speeders arent amazing yet. But now you can even see which boat people are currently using:
Current top 10 = 9 speeders.
Current top 20 = 19 speeders.
Current top 50 = 32 speeders.

Nothing in this patch altered why the banana boat is king - Minor nerf sure, but the two other boats that could half way keep up in pace took much larger hits.

For reference; the apparantly overpowered Fixer usually had around 3-4 players in the top 50. A representation below 10% surely needed to take a hit with the nerfbat!

This does not necessarily mean speeders are overpowered though. It can also simply mean that it's the boat that requires and rewards player skill most, and therefore will always dominate the top end of the game where everyone is skilled. I mean, speeder has one of the lowest HPs and also the lowest offensive power (due to having only 2 red slots at cap). It's not like any of its individual stats are OP. There's only one way to be effective on speeder and that's to avoid hits, which is something you have to get good at. That's also why speeders are so underwhelming at low infamy. The boat isn't necessarily bad there, but very few people are good at playing it, and those that are move away into higher infamy.

But these are just my thoughts as +- 1500 infamy player

 

I agree that low level speeders are fairly weak. At mk6+7 the speeder is not a low hp boat, heck I played against an 11k hp speeder yesterday.

If over 60% of the top players play one boat its because that boat vastly outperforms the competition.

 

Player skill.... what do you know about that? Reach our veteran level before you comment on skill.

Miika the game has no issues... great game. The problem is you, the one who is moving the game in a direction that is truly the downfall of something that could be great. Maybe you can be best friends with Trump... Thinking you are making things great when it is not.

FYI, I play because of my RNG brothers. it's a community that really keeps a player base together. when we move, we move together too. So wake up... get off your high horse. at the end of the day... the players are what make your game successful. If you lost track of that... really... a reminder here. what is 5 star can become 1 star overnight. it takes a long time to build a 5 star back up from 1 star. You will be seeing me and quite a few or us playing lesser and lesser. but do you care? it's all about the money to you guys.

 

The only reason people go to the top, is because those people are very good.
You can't just throw a bunch of nerfing around and hoping they will become as amazing as those because of that.

The only reason i see this, is because new players "don't enjoy the game because of [so many strong opponents]" thus, making lesser money.

When I started this game, all I wanted was to be at the top. It wasn't an easy task but I've managed so far to be "ok".

If everything is easy, there are no more challenges.

The only people who love this update are those of lesser infamy.
But go in a higher infamy (say, M1 to Nightmare), and people will either complain or complain (different reasons).

Let's not talk about contents either. The lack of content is staggering !!
Now, the game is : make the weaks stronger, the stronger weaker, buy perks and battles.

Instead of trying to convince yourselves it's a great update, just admit it was a fail and learn from your mistakes, and change things.

Of course they don't care.
Veteran players will leave, new players will come and spend $$.
They will nerf things for them too.
They will become the veterans and will leave too.
And so on.

The solution to powerful fixers should have been better matchmaking.
Now I'm playing against some of my favourite fixers buds, but they can't heal and my enforcer can't move.
Speeders remain largely unaffected, since even on the OB cooldown they're the fastest ship on the bay and they don't need tesla shields anyway.
You've killed two boats that didn't need to be rebalanced at all, seemingly because you want to keep the ridiculous hp on your speeders.
Speeders were what needed balancing, and it was the health that needed to go.
Speeders still need balancing.

 

Not with OB.
You become way too much in the open now within the 4sec interval. Try to avoid missiles during that time. you have low health too. Missiles are making around 2600 in damages. That's almost half of your health.

OB didn't need the nerf. Fixers didn't need the nerf.
Tesla Shield ? Yes
Nitro needs a nerf as well.
