Grenade Issue.

    I'm seeing a problem with grenades that has been intermittent over the past several days.

    I should be dropping over 500pts of damage with a solid hit and much of the time, direct hits are registering zero or near zero damage.

    Other times they work without issue.

    There is also at least one other user in vip chat reporting similar issues.

    Please address this glitch as this is a favorite weapon for close quarters battle.

    THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST Feisty. I have noticed this same issue for approx 2 weeks now. Causes zero damage and should be somewhere around 900-1100 damage. In addition I notice when I pull it up to aim, sometimes it is swiveled around so far that it is nearly impossible to aim, Usually results in a worthless shot or have to stand still while switching fingersholding down fire button, like I'm some kind of professional finger contraptionist.
    This is a deadly experience. When bring a close range weapon to battle, it needs to work when you've lined it up perfectly. It's not a lag issue as I don't generarally see with other weapons, in my opinion.

    Very very frustrating.

    I had not really thought about it but I have had something similar to that happen a few times.

    I switch to that weapon in close combat and I am all turned around and WAY off target. THEN I need to switch to something else as it won't go fast enough and I am all turned around on that.

    End result has been I am dead or DEEPLY damaged as my ship has been rendered useless in close combat.

    I am hopeful that this issue is addressed as I have a lot of effort wrapped up in getting this weapon to a decently high level and want to keep using it.

    Happens with other weapons also in close combat, esp when switching from a close range to a longer range weapon. Camera starts spinning... Maybe bc its looking for a new target

    Helpful responce.

    Over thw eekend I have not been using the grenade much as it keeps failing. On saturday TWICE I had another ship below 50 points and used grenade, dropping the ordenance super close with zero damage. One time it did not matter a lot but another time it led to me getting killed and a win for the other fleet.

    Can someone please tell me that this is something that is being looked at or is this forum even looked at by Rovio?!

    One I used grenade and It droped me down to 35 infamy. At least I got death from above at that infamy.

    If you hit to a friendly ship you wont deal damage. Or if he used nitro overboost or something to get out, you wont make damage either. This forum is rovio's official forum. So it isnt scam. Admins have lots of to do and maybe your post that went so deep untill not to see.

    We check every post, but replying to every post is taking time away from actually fixing things or improving the game, so that's why we don't always give "a sign of acknowledgment"

    We fixed some grenade talents in the upcoming update which will likely address this.

    I realized other people have the same issues I have so i'll add my experience as well even though i've never brought it up before.

    1. Grenade launcher aim circle issue - sometimes it's slow even though i have the joystick to the edgde, sometimes it glides far into a direction so fast i have to bring the aim circle back in but it comes back so slow. i'm not sure y, but it needs calibration

    2. Aiming up-close issue - while aiming a mid or close range target (e.g. swift torp, blast cannon, grenade, it's what i use most) and my cross hair is near the target but not quite close enough to shoot, all of a sudden my screen will turn to where my boat is facing while the crosshair slowly catches up to where my boat is facing, even though i didn't control it that way. So now the crosshair is farther from target than where i initially had it ... and the target escapes... or i get shot up pretty badly (my speeder)
