Need Help Bad!!!!

Ok so I have been playing the game for about 3 weeks now.
My Captain lvl is 22
My Imfamy is 761
All of my boats ar MK3's at the moment but I can upgrade all but the Defender to MK4 if I get the money.
Here is the list of what items I have
Uncommon: Sniper Cannon lvl 21/ Bandage lvl 20/ Repair Pulse lvl 20/ Repair Box lvl 20/ Frost Launcher lvl10/ Turbo lvl 10
Rare: Cannon lvl 26/ Long Range Mortar lvl 11/ Swift Torpedo lvl 6/ Overboost lvl 2
Epic: Standard Mortar lvl 4/ Big Torpedo lv 2/ Nitro lvl 2

So I really like playing the fixer but seem to never be able to do enough damage for my team to win or stay alive long enough to heal them. I'm not that great with the Shooter I cant seem to get a good set up to deal more then 2K damage a match if I'm lucky. The speeder is fun but I die so fast. Not much experience with playing the others because I change out there quests when they come up.

What I need help with is what should I equip my ships with and what should I focus upgrading because things are becoming more and more expensive to upgrade.

Any help would be great thanks.

 

For my defender I liked the long range motar and Canon. And some turbos and shields.
Shooter I thought I was not good either until I practiced a bit and tried out some weapon set ups on it and now I kill mfs lol
I got an epic t2 Canon. T3 uncommon long range (still waiting for my 2nd rare so I can. Lvl that up)
Napalm launcher because I got burning perks on my Canon which make it good af
And an epic berta

Given the items you have I'd advise going with mk4 shooter, be sure to include the sniper and the canon.

As for the other weapons I'd say 1 torpedo, wether it's big or swift is up to you, and 1 mortar.

I think epic standard mortar should be better than tier 2 rare long range mortar. If you use long range mortar you could turn into a camper without even realizing it, for long range you already got the sniper. And of course you've got some upgrading to do.

To make it easier to read for you, your potential setup:
Mk4 shooter
-Sniper canon
-Standard canon
-Any mortar
-Any torpedo

And a general advise I give to everybody asking for tips... DON'T RUSH!
And try to improve your aiming and leadshots so that you'll never miss. Just because you can shoot doesn't mean that you have to. Only shoot when you're sure that you can hit. And if there is a defender on your team, try to stay behind him (but also make sure that he doesn't block your shots)

Btw, I don't consider myself a pro player at all, but I'll just tell you my setup for comparison (if you or anybody else got tips for me to improve I'd be happy to hear it so that I can improve too.)

Anyway, my setup, I'm level 23, and I'm hovering around 2100-2300 infamy (no matter how much I play, I don't get any higher atm)
Mk4 shooter
-Lvl 30 rare sniper
-Lvl 30 uncommon sniper
-Lvl 23 rare blast canon (I got 3 rare explosive canons, so I'm working to replace my blast canon with explosive canon)
-Lvl 20 epic big berta

I think my weapons aren't bad at all, but they aren't great either. And unfortunatly I haven't been lucky enough to collect a good torpedo, wether it be tritorp, big torpedo or swift torpedo. I think at mk5 I would keep this setup, and just add a torpedo to the list (hopefully I'll have one by then)

 

Fixers dont need to damage bad. I make 500-1000 damage each game. Just heal and survive your teammates. They will do damage instead of you

Mk3 Fixer
-Lvl 2 Epic Big Torpedo or Lvl 26 Rare Cannon
-Lvl 2 Epic Nitro
-Lvl 20 Uncommon Repair Pulse
-Lvl 20 Uncommon Repair Box
-Lvl 10 Rare Turbo or Lvl 20 Uncommon Bandage

 

Mk4 fixer here, while you are using fixer go with cannon, (i use overboost but nitro is ok too), and bandage. Still, highly reccommend going with turbo and nitro or bandage and overboost if possible since fixers are slow and you need to be running around a lot to heal. good luck mate

 

What @Fix-it said is correct. Just keep your teammates alive and your job is done.

Seem like everyone is getting better drop rate on weapons than I do. I played this game for 4-5 weeks and still have a weak set of weapons.
- level 10 rare cannon (can't seem to get another one)
- level 21 uncommon sniper
- level 21 uncommon and rare standard mortars
That's the setup I am using right now with my only MK4 shooter.

I just got a rare tri-torpedo so will upgrade that soon. I also have a level 12 rare Berta, level 3 epic Berta, and level 4 ballpark mortar but rarely use those. Berta take too long to cool down.

I recommend get an MK4 shooter. You have plenty of fire powers to get above me. I am around 1100 infamy right now. For playing the fixer, I just use a sniper cannon and aim at the low health enemy once in a while. It's a weapon you can use on any map.

 

@Zech before I started with mk4 shooter I played as mk3 defender with sniper canon and standard canon. After I swithed to mk4 shooter I died alot and did terrible damage at the beginning. After losing like 20-30 times I finally got the hang of playing as a shooter.

So in the beginning you'll most likely play terrible too untill you get used to the new ship
