    Though I'm not a Dev... I agree, it's really annoying and inappropriate. Though I always used to be on chat, even I've started to avoid global now. It's full of nothing bUT fights, swearing, and loads of drama. LOADS.
    Also, it'd be great if the reporting system would be not so useless...

    Honestly I'm surprised! I very occasionally take a cautious peek into global and retreat immediately... Not once have I ever read anything coherent enough to be considered fighting or drama... I genuinely thought global was where the internet came to release bits of that festering fart it had been building up.

    Really? Over 7/10 times when I look at Global chat I see people using bad words and/or insulting eachother. And I also see people writing sexual tinted comments very often.

    Global chat isn't even worth looking at.

    Agreed, however we can't ban every simple player for saying a curse word once a day. The ones who get reported repeatedly are acted upon swiftly. So report them if you see it and feel it is excessive.

    Global chats in online games are always terrible nowadays, in any game. They require active moderation to be decent, like a GM constantly watching chat. I'm not saying Rovio should do that as they have a far smaller team working on Battle Bay than some other games have and probably can't afford to have 1 person do nothing but guard the chat. But it's the only way for a global chat to not be terrible.

    Edit: if you want good Battle Bay chat, purchase VIP... VIP chat is always much better

    Ya, true. However, there are new players who get thoroughly disenchanted with the game seeing all the profanity happening on the chat.
