I'm not sure about it, you kind of lost me at "astronomical prices". What do you mean exactly?

I can only barely afford shop items above Uncommon right now. For an "astronomical" Uncommon price, I get so many free ones that I wouldn't bother spending the money. Rares would get a price that would be "astronomical" compared to 750,000 gold, which barely sounds farmable. Epics would get a price that would be "astronomical" compared to 3000 pearls, and I'm pretty sure even whales wouldn't be able to afford that. I don't mean to mock your use of "astronomical", I just found it funny.

Maybe lower-than-normal prices, but you can't buy the duplicates without owning the initial item first?

You are clearly new to the game and need to understand more about league bonuses, rewards and damage.
A nightmare player gets 50k gold per victory, at my level, ace 2 its 35k.
Reducing the prices for noobs or people who plays once a week wont solve anything.

Stop posting here and go play some games!

 

You have no idea what a whale is. A whale puts $1k a month into this game. A whale can afford anything this game throws at them Pearl wise.

 

Sorry to inform you of this, but there's a game outside of Nightmare, so don't throw your rank at me. Players above 3000 infamy aren't the only people that need duplicates, so a system that only benefits them isn't the best choice.

Also, I play this game a lot, I've gone through over 1200 battles inside of 8 weeks. I don't just post on the forums, so please don't insult me.

Is paying 7000 for the single dupe a better choice than buying an Epic Chest?

Creating artificial difficulty by putting bs prices is unhealthy for the game. People want improvement, not just whales. Might as well just price them similar to the old shop system, it's more accessible to everyone instead of solely just whales with that 7000 pearls suggestion. You should join the dev team, your idea of balance and progression is on par with them.

 

just ignore him. I've had monobrow on my team at 2100 infamy on more than one occasion. he's a garbage team player, just charges in, does a couple shots and dies. he's one of those "suicidal speeders". this new update is said to allow clicking on players profile after battle. cant wait to report his ass...

I play a very agressive, in your face style. It makes for quick games and im either top or ive taken an unfriend down with me and moved on to the next game while you are still hiding behind a rock.

The fact I dont hide behind a rock and camp for 5 mins afraid to put my boat in the open is what you are questioning here. When the team follows and takes advantage of the chaos im causing its an easy, quick win.

And a mk5 with rares at 2k is hardly seal clubbing, lol.

Well, it's always good to know other people's opinions, but obviously, getting into a useless argument isn't always the best choice

 

am not saying its not a valid strategy, but causing chaos in the first 15s of the match before the slow shooters and defenders can get into position is useless. thats why i said you're a garbage team player. if you wish to be a help, wait for your teammates to get in line for shots. afterwards i dont care whether you decide to die quickly or whatever...

 

Yeah, 17 votes and only a couple of people have actually explained why they do or don't think the system would be useful. Not only that, but the poll is near 50%, so we can't even make up our minds as a community.

Is it good, since guaranteed dupes will make progression overall faster, especially in the case of non-red gear? Or is it bad, since the prices in question would only benefit those of higher ranks, while the path to arriving at those ranks would remain just as long? Is the path really that long, and is the price fair to begin with, even at high ranks?
