New ship ( Defender 2.0 )?

Nice, but hopefully the price will be reasonable so most of us can buy one as well.

For the price of 3 new level 1 boats I can buy a new tablet, a bit better one for the price of 4 or 5 boats. What is wrong with this picture?

 

Seriously, ship pieces need to be made into a single, generic item that applies to all new ships for purchasing and upgrading.

I just managed to get the Interceptor and was lucky enough to get a 5,000 piece box after unlocking the ship. This only managed to get the Interceptor up to Level 15, and it's too weak to play as I am almost always matched with level 47 ships (some 40s, but usually 47s and up).

I am about 1,000 pieces short of getting the Reaper.

So, out of 6 and soon (potentially) 7/8 ships, I only have two (Shooter and Fixer) that are viable. The others are at too low a level and can barely make it in Events, I don't even try to use them for Ranked as it would be a disservice to my team.

Last ship was a defender hybrid too. How did that turn out? Lmao
And good luck trying to collect 10k new parts while the game gives you all reaper/interceptor parts

I'm saying that everyone here always says that next ship is defender hybrid and it always turn out to be some other jack of all trades.

 

I only just got the reaper, and I don't want to have to grind for a ship that WILL replace the defender by what people are suggesting. I don't want the defender to be replaced, as I have sacrificed so much to get the shields I need for defender. It took so much grinding as a FTP to get both the interceptor and reaper(both of which are amazing, and a well played lvl 1 reaper can knock lvl 50 shooters.) I don't like the speed of these new releases. It seems like we are approaching War Robots too fast.

 

It's already more shooter than defender lol. It has shooter mk7 rear and enforcer/interceptor propellers so it's going to use some kind of yellow items. This one's going to be a mess too. Maybe 3RRR 3YY 5BBB with some reaper like base HP.

 

You can always get another one for 500 USD if not more. Lol

 

New ships are good for the new players or the players at lower infamy. But at the same time it is a nightmare for older players or from higher leagues, as it is not possible for them to use the lower ship lvls at league games.

I call all the new ships as the " Event Ships only". Lol

 

Now, nobody here can be expected to care about the thoughts of a random redneck, but here goes...
1. To the people whining about drop rates: Previous new ships had exclusive crates that only dropped their parts during their introductory event. This bluey boi will probably be the same... but I trust Rovio about as far as my blast cannon could propel their entire headquarters.
2. ANOTHER NEW SHIP? I'M 600 AWAY FROM INTERCEPTOR AND YOU INTERRUPT ME WITH ANOTHER NEW BOAT AND A WEEK OF EXCLUSIVE CRATES (probably)??? WHAT HAVE I DONE, ROVIO?
3. I posted in @BBSC - NightmareKnight's new ship idea thread about a proposed "guardian" ship a while back. Seems like nobody noticed it, but it COULD line up with the teaser image and people's speculations. Here is the post from that thread for your convenience:

Base stats: high HP, low to medium top speed, medium agility, high turret agility
Guardian is essentially a defender with a jetpack. It has high HP, and can regenerate with bandaids if it so chooses. It can use its HP and a Tesla shield to protect teammates, while a slot for OB or nitro allows it to keep pace with shooters or fixers. While primarily geared towards escorting a medic/weak teammate or protecting a flag/capture zone, Guardian does have the ability to go on the offensive with a two point red item and two one pointers.
I say this due to the fact that this ship is similar slotwise, statwise, and tacticwise to a defender, so it COULD be blue... also notice the exhaust pipe structure similar to the Interceptor's. This, and the streamlined shape reminiscent of Speeder/Interceptor's, leads me to believe this boat will be capable of using yellow items. Let me know your thoughts.

Again, all speculation... maybe Rovio threw poor Uncle Redneck overboard and gave it four green slots lmao

 

I’m already regretting that I scrapped my t5 rare

 

I kept my 6 extra epic big shields for a long time in hopes of defender buff. Scrapped them all after they said screw you to all defenders and even took away their remaining defence.

 

Wonder exactly how "soon" this is... could be VERY soon, considering nothing's replaced fire monday yet...
