In the 4.0 update everything did got a nice buff before the update fixers was a very great ship to have around with you but...

The next day you got on it and you think "oh easy infamy let's do this!!"
But sadly you just lose a lot of infamy and you just think "is it just me or fixer sucks ?:("
Healing nerfed hp not nerfed but weapons are too op duct tape won't keep you alive for long unless you are a G O D
Carronades are very powerful and slow you down and let me tell you can't run away from defenders lol
But honestly I ever known I will see to the that fixers lost their name but I will always live on as a fixer as always I'm always loyal to my kind fixers forever no matter what NO matter and people will always remember me AS a fixer once a fixer ALWAYS a fixer
Ever lose hope for the fixers let's ride together! We win together we fight together and we die together

Harder to stay alive but a lot more healing to be done. Assuming you can stay alive, your healing scores should be higher than before. In my opinion the fixer can play an even more important factor in the out come of the battle now because all boats are taking the higher damage - not just fixer.

And I’ve played a bunch of battles in this event with decent coin return - probably the best average of all of my boats that I have played in this event.

I don’t think fixer is dead - just have to adapt like everybody else.

I know you only want to play fixer, but by sticking to one boat only you miss the perspective of the players that you are fixing and don’t see that the game has changed for them too.

Maybe you can find a good fleetmate? Idk at what inf your main is (I don’t know at what inf Baby Fixer is too) but however, I found an AMAZING fleetmate, and I’m at my highest infamy EVER!!!
Maybe you can do the same? What fixing stuff do you use btw?

I don’t know what you mean. I stay alive quite a long time after I ditched a pulse for a duct.

Only thing is, I should probably scrap my turbo because I’ll never use it again on a Fixer. One shield isn’t good enough, so I carry another. My Fixer is legitimately a tortoise. I miss going fast.

I'm still rocking a Pulse and two Bolts in my Green slots, and a Shield/Turbo in Blues. Gives me 8630HP and max (1.5) speed - seems to do well enough.

My preference is to run double Pulse & Bolt. Each cycle of the pulses is about 1k self-healing.

A fixer's role certainly has become more difficult. The damage has spiked and healings remains somewhat flat in comparison. Saw a Defender tonight go from 100% to 0% in a matter of seconds because he was exposed and couldn't escape the opposing team. Not a chance of saving him.

The big problem for me is the suicidal play of team mates, if caught out they can get dropped in a blink of an eye now. They're too eager to deal DPS as weaponry damage is significant bigger.

I'd like to see an increase in healing and/or a reduction of bonus damage from fire affliction to help the fixer out a bit.

No fixer id dead. Since -50% group healing nerf ( I forgot Item name) fixer has been dying. After this update, I've died bunch of times with 2 to 3 shots. Can you believe me? If fixer doesn't have huge health and can't alive what's good for fixer itself and other members? It's just sad. I've been playing fixer for last 2 years

I can only comment on my own experience obviously, but since the update I haven’t found that I am winning or losing any more games as a fixer than I did before. With all of the healing opportunity my average healing has gone up though. I also played fixer a bit in the event and found rewards were better than before (maybe partly related to extra healing - who really knows how this is calculated for fixer?).

Not sure if the healing items makes the experience better or worse. I am almost always double pulse/ bolt. (Bolt for duct tape in events).

I’m not abandoning fixer any time soon. I will continue to play it in rotation with pretty much all of the other boats.
