Remove Tesla Shield Break Stun!

    Weapons which cannot break Ts in 1 shot- Sniper, Std Cannon, lrm, std motar, ballpark, Blast and Grenade.
    7 out of 20 weapons are unable to break ts now.
    Means ts user will get stunned 65% of time.
    Also some of above mentioned weapons are barely used. So actually percentage of Ts user getting stunned is way higher.
    What the benefit of a Item that do no dmg but gets to stunned to make us easier target.

    Some Blasts and Grenades can break shields. It depends on the perks and the rarity/level.

    Also TS is the only item with drawbacks.

    More like, the only item with drawbacks added into the mechanics. We can say that the carro has a drawback with respect to its range, or a berta has flight time as a drawback. But TS has this inbuilt drawback that was built into it as an effort to balance it.

    Now when every weapon can break it. This kind of a drawback for a non dmg item is not fair or balanced.

    I haven't really tried enfo post-nerf, so I wouldn't know(thus I've been avoiding commenting on this), but yes, if what you say is a regular thing, the TS needs a buff

    Are you kidding me?? Before this update any yellow ship could just face 2-5 enemies without having to worry about losing HP!!!

    While I think that it is important for Yellow items to be balanced, I think that many have been balanced in a way that makes them infuriatingly inconsistent, which ultimately puts people off using them.

    Tesla Bolt is a good example. It can be incredibly powerful (in the right situation), but for most users, their experience is teammates breaking it, healers removing it, and it just generally not being ready when you need it, etc... you just start to wonder if it’s really worth blocking a slot, waiting for that perfect situation that hardly ever happens.

    Both Tesla Bolt and Tesla Shield have a habit of backfiring really badly. You carry it to protect yourself, but then when you need it the most, it breaks and gets you killed.

    I would like to see a bit more security with these items. They have incredibly long cooldowns, users deserve to get some value out of them when they are used. Having them break instantly is not value.

    One idea might be for items like Frost, TB, TS to be unbreakable for the first 2.5 seconds. If that’s too strong, then they should be harder to break. For example TS having 50% more hp during the first 2.5 seconds. Frost and Tesla Bolt should also require an amount of damage to break them, rather than just any one hit.

    If that also means making the items weaker in other ways (such as reducing their duration), then I think most users would be okay with that. I’d rather have an item that was balanced and dependable, than something that’s OP half the time, and gets me killed the other half.

    Nitro saves better than ts now. While ts is a 2 slot item.

    Well there you go. You said it yourself. Tesla shields can still withstand most weapons of same level and rarity. So idk what's all this fuss about.
    Of course your lower rarity shields are going to break against higher rarity weapons.

    I already explained 14 out 20 weapons breaks ts.
    And he said that even some ofabove mentioned 7 weapons can break ts.
    7 out 20 is most??

    I guess that’s one way of looking at it, but why assume that Shields and Weapons should be so equal? If you’re only able to block one shot at a time, then you might as well use Tesla Bolt, and stun that one attacking ship. The whole point of a Shield is that it can protect you from multiple angles. Is it really so unreasonable to expect it to be good enough to do that?
