New Update Old Problem

    I am a level 39 shooter and I am constantly being put in battles against players that are level 47 or higher. I cannot compete against them. If it continues I won’t play this game.

    Try looking at your inventory. If you have ANY Tier 4 or Tier 5 EPIC items equipped, remove them from your ship and replace them with lower level epic or rare items.
    Somehow in the game's matchmaking it treats Tier 4 and Tier 5 Epics like you are a Seal Clubber and makes your matchmaking harder.

    Please could youyou upl screenshots of your ship loadout, and also your results screens.
    It is hard for people to advise properly without these details .

    Dude, you are level 49 and all you have is a Tier 1 Bandage, Tier 1 epic cannon and Tier 2 Big Shield?
    You are blatantly seal clubbing by using gear WAY too low for your captain level.

    I thought you were having the same issue as me. Most of my gear is all TIER 5 RARE, excect my only Tier 5 EPIC Weapon is a mine. So whenever I equip that mine during events, it puts be against players with gear scores 2000+ above me. So during events I use my TIER 5 Rare Mine instead of the epic.

    I can only use what i’ve got. RNG does not distribute items evenly.

    It would be nice if “the proper way to play” this game was made known to people. A user manual or something. Anyway, I get no responses from devs about issues I have so, I guess I’m gone.

    Mate, have you had some sort of issue? (Eg someone scrapped your gear etc) I don’t understand how a player can reach captain lvl 49, and only have the equivalent of an old Mk5 ship and such low quality weapons. RNG is a cruel mistress, but she’s not that cruel that you can play for over a year and only have those weapons - something else must have gone on.
    You must have had to fight a large number of battles over a lot of weeks/years to reach that captain level. I’d have expected that you’d have had some T5R’s and more legendary weapons from achievements too.
    I think you’re also going to struggle in ranked play. Those mk2,3,4 and 5’s you’re used to playing just became a lot stronger after the update with more slots and higher no.
