    A MK7 is the same as a level 50 ship, you aren't losing anything?
    The main difference now is that visually the boats are the same, and also all players will have access to the MK6 slot distribution.

    To me it makes upgrading your boat more consistent with the system for upgrading weapons, by using the same 1 to 50 scale.
    It gives noobs access to more hp and more weapon slots, so they have an easier time against any seal clubbers.
    It will prevent the infamy drop issues that some players currently experience when upgrading ship Mark
    What’s not to like?

    This might be my only complaint. 1 mil for a few dozen hp doesn’t seem like a good trade.

    So what happens to the mk7 sprites? Gone just like that?

    This ship is only level 25, yet it has the MK6 sprite and visuals.

    Giving access to all slots from word go will be good. No more issues where enforcer could only equip small shield at mk5.
    Also it may encourage more variety of ships from very beginning.

    Any chance that the Captains will return as gameplay features or cosmetic only?

    They impersonate the spirit of the game as the ships.

    Glad to hear all the new changes. Finally I can level all the weapons that I desire without sacrifices.
