Balancing 3.2 Ship agility balance (13/09)

    can u tell me the settings
    i am confused with them...
    tell me how to set...ship is turning like hell so unable to hit bolt exactly...

    If you have the Camera Relative Steering on, switch that off first.

    Next, check all your settings. The game kinda defaulted to different settings, you should check for any changes to yours. You'll probably LOVE fixer after that.

    ACTUALLY CUSTOMIZATION is stucking not opening properly.
    i dont have any issue with cam...but when turning ship repair bolt moving like hell.

    Use target lock.. and try to not be swiveling your turret at full speed when you shoot.

    Thanks! Another great update Zeus. However there are still a few people who aren’t playing Shooter. When are you expecting to reach your target of 100%?

    But in all seriousness, you might want to look again at Speeder. Something just doesn’t feel quite right...

    Shooter: Now and always.
    Enforcer: Last update.
    Speeder: P0rthos' era
    Defender: Never
    Fixer: Nearly always

    I kind of disagree with this. I think Speeder was actually closer to being balanced in P0rthos era. I realise this is a controversial thing to say, but I’ll explain.

    Speeder is a hard ship to use. If you just camp and shoot like a Shooter does, then it would be insanely underpowered. To make Speeder work requires a lot of skill and timing.

    Since it’s a harder ship to use, it should ultimately be better than other ships when you play it right (that would actually be balanced).

    A good analogy would be Big Torpedo versus Sniper. Big Torpedo is obviously harder to hit with, so it needs to do more damage when it does hit. If you made Sniper and BT do the same damage per hit, then it might look balanced on paper, but in practice there would be no point taking the BT, because it’s much higher risk, and for no extra reward.

    Speeder is also a higher risk ship, so it ‘should’ be more rewarding. Seeing more of them in the top lists (where players have high skill), actually makes sense.

    I perform not as well after the uodate as before. I did a lot more damage prior update. With the new agility itmis much harder to hit a Shooter even with a swift, especially when you are in sight of him or her. I don't enjoy it as much anymore because of it...

    The turrent agility of shooters and defenders is faster now. So it is hard even for an OB and double nitro speeder like me to evade their shots and move back to safety. Its just that we ate too easy to hit, and the other ships have high agility too which makes it hard to land shots on them because tbey move too quickly. An explosive shot for instance, is hard to land to land now. The other ships can easily hit you but cant hit them back.

    You once said something along these lines that I definitely agree with:
    "Speeder is a high risk, high reward ship and people enjoyed that. But speeders got more skilled and people said it was OP. So in reality, the skill was too Op, not the ship itself."

    Ok, it was nothing like that but I got the main idea right.

    Exactly! I did better with my Speeder and dealt much more damage before the update, than after it. Reason is clear.

    Speeder was not OP, it was fine, most people could not handle it, hence the many Speeders who died within 5 seconds.....my last post for now.

    What to do with the lose motioned turret and ship rotating rather then moving forward.

    Speeder is good after the update.
    Enforcer need some compensation.
    Lose motioned turret and ship turning rather then moving forward is really annoying.
    This update was a indirect nerf to enforcer.

    I am with you. What's the point in reducing testla shield hit points by 5%? I really don't understand it. Enforcer is the one which should have highest agility and turrent speed. But now, more or less the shooters has become as equal to enforcer.
