To be fair, the epic perks are still upgrades .. so I imagine you would have gotten all you needed from perk boxes (rather than just going for legendary perks).

But, yeah, I seem to RNG fixer perks at a crazy high rate too, so I feel your pain.

I wouldn't mind if they started grouping event perks .. red and blue perks, yellow and green perks .. or having a separate week for green perks all together.

Update.. latest leg perk was a fixer perk .. so that makes it 5 fixer perks out of my last 6.

Yeah .. not happening. But, based on the number of personal quests and perks I get for it, I'd say you're right.

Wish I could downgrade the storage mule

    What!?! Why on Earth not?

It would only require about 500 Epic Power Cells, 300 Million Gold worth of parts, and 10 months of RNG.

    What’s stopping you?

Well, you're perfectly right on those numbers LOL.

Just epic level 31-40 costs 15.6 million gold worth of parts alone, from the calculations I made. Which is just totally insane.

They need to accelerate stuff in the endgame. Reaching NML needs to be easier once you cross 40, something that isn't happening at this point. Power creep means that the NMLs that are currently up there are completely stunting the growth of Ace 1s(ofc they're improving our skill, but gearwise, not being able to get NML because of the existing NMLs is a big barrier).

My suggestion is that there need to be four Ace leagues. Currently, there's no incentive to bridge that 1000 infamy gap between 3000 and 4000 infamy. It's a heartless slog. The NML reset moving from 3500 to 4000 is a major aspect.

People above 3500 are really close to NML, you cannot compare them to the post-3000 fresh Ace 1s. Thus, 3500 needs its own league.

    Here's what I think.
    Ace 4: 2300-2599
    Ace 3: 2600-2999
    Ace 2: 3000-3499
    Ace 1: 3500-3999

People in Ace 4, 3 and 2 get the same rewards that they have been getting. As in, Ace 4 gets the same rewards as the current Ace 3, all the way up to Ace 2, which gets the same rewards as the current Ace 1.

The new Ace 1 gets rewards and legendary parts almost on the level of NML, because 3500-4000 is very close to NML.

This will really help plauers attempting to make the NML push, imho.

This is probably off topic, but I think it would be nice to have some kind of upgrade events to help people clear their inventory backlog. Games like Pokemon Go did that frequently, and it was really useful to keep you moving on stuff that otherwise would have taken years.

I’m actually quite interested in playing Fixer. I’ve even been saving my Epic Greens. But when I look at my inventory, I’ve got stuff I’m working on for my current build (to replace my Rares), even though I have the duplicates, that alone will take months. After that I’ve got some alternative weapons for my current build, which I’d like to be able to run. Who knows when I’ll be able to get around to those?

When all that is done, then ‘maybe’ I’ll be able to work on my Fixer, though I’m sure I’ll be struggling for Power Cells by then, so maybe not.

I’ve currently got 4x Epic Pulses in my inventory. I got two more last week, which should have been awesome — T5 Pulse. But looking at my remaining power cells, and the huge backlog of stuff I’ll need to work on first, I ended up scrapping the two new ones, because I’m still years away from being able to upgrade them.

I dunno, maybe Rovio thinks it’s good for business to make any lateral movement drag on for years. And it probably is if people are willing to stick around, or pay a fortune to make it happen. But I also think a lot of people will just get bored, and it actually puts me off spending too much money. What’s the point in buying crates, and getting more new stuff, when I’m already struggling to stay on top of what I have?

If you don't want to level up your greens, then grind towards achievements in events (best do it in team based events though). You will probably get the legendaries before you get to level up your epics anyways. If you need to, then maybe build some rare greens to help grind?

I've been recently thinking of the power creep and league adjustments needed along the same lines. You are right, the Gap between Ace II and NML is huge, too big. It is also time for NML to be broken into 3 Tiers, and NML Reset to follow those tiers, that way we don't have the 6000 Infamy players getting reset to 4000 just to give them the opportunity to seal club their way back up. It's an idea that passed it's time in 2017.

The power creep also means league rewards are becoming relatively worthless, falling far behind the Guild and Event rewards. What is the purpose of the league system at this point? With the player inflation, those that would have qualified for NML 6 months ago are now stuck in Ace with Captain 50, MK7, and T5E items, getting reduced rewards, the equivalent of a daily chest and a weekly calendar slot for 2 weeks of effort. Does anyone know what purpose the league system offers anyone at this point?

I guess I could do that, but it’s still a lot of work, probably getting poor rewards in the events, and at the end of it, t1 legendaries would be kind of a downgrade for me, even if I had enough legendary parts to push them all to level 10 (which I don’t).

This is a really good idea. Being able to clear a build backlog once in a while with extra parts, sugar, and cell events would be amazing. Even focusing one of these events on Fixer-only items, for example, would make an astonishing improvement to boat diversity, and the game overall. Pokemon Go does this monthly, if not more frequently.

I was thinking they could have a weekend where they pick an item (say Duct Tape), and for the whole weekend you’re able to upgrade that Item using only common parts and cells. That will help people to clear them, and would actually be a use for those common cells. I’m sure Rovio would hate the idea though.
