Alright, the update is great, but..

I want a compensation for my gear lube. I've been saving my legendary item pieces for over a year, just to get a completely useless item - gear lube. It used to be THE WORST ITEM IN THE GAME. Of course I scrapped it not more than a month ago.
And now I see you can change it for other blue item of the same level.
I call that BS, if I knew something like that was gonna happen, I'd keep it. You just can't make a decision like that in a day, without preparing people for it??

 

I wanted to use the item, and tried, but it was so trash, it was just impossible to use it effectively on either Enforcer or Speeder.
If it was rare or epic I'd be okay with it, but legendary is one per over a year (in my and most other f2p players) of playing.

How happy I would be to get either Turbo, Bandage or BShield instead (all of that I have in rare rarity).
This is really a slap in the face Rovio, you should have let us know at least one update ahead.

 

no it is not GREAT , and I changed my gear lube to a turbo ,and I loved my gear lube ,I was waiting to fit 2 epic perks ,so it becomes a bit powerful but I was forced to change it ,

and btw it had 1epic/rare/uncommon perks but when I salvaged them and sold them they all where the same colour and none of them gave me 2.8m ,only1 gave me 1.5m,

i loved my rudder as well at least it gives us some advantage in agility over other ships, now everyship is the same.

 

That "great" was meant sarcastically tho.


Still don't understand how can they just remove two items without letting us know beforehand.
It definitely wasn't a decision of the last few days, they must have been knowing this for a long time and still didn't say anything.

 

My only complaint is the added turret agility. What's the point of running rings around someone with your new, better agility on a speeder, when their turret can track you as you go easily. It only males torps harder and harder to hit. I think the agility booster was great, shooters and enfos don't need the same turret agility. My only complaint.

 

The bad thing isnt that they got rid of those two items, the really bad and unfair thing is how overcompensated people that still Had those items are getting...

I have put Alot of money into this game to get good stuff, a ”bad” way according to some people, but anyway. I dont lie when I say that I have scrapped a total of 6 leg rudders/gear lubes in total. For that I have gotten 6 leg pieces. If I would only had hold on to One of those I would have gotten a new leg Item of choice. Just sickens me.

 

Yes, rare and epic ones aren't that bad, because you could get them many in a short period of time. I don't care about all the epic rudders and lubes I got, as I got something useful from them - epic power cells, epic materials and epic blue item pieces. All of that is pretty useful.

But legendaries on the other hand. They are very, very rare. You got stupid leggy item piece, some power cells and materials also but in a rarity no f2p needs. Firstly you get slapped by Rovio by giving them to you, and then this.


And saying thing like - you should have kept them. Who knew???? When you have rare Big shield, Turbo and Bandage, and you're saving blue legendary item pieces for over a year just to get gear lube.. who would keep that BS item?

No. I'm just saying, if we got the info beforehand, my compensation could be a lot, and I mean a lot better. We're not talking about one of many rare items. We're talking about a legendary item. We happen to get those once in a over a year.

 

I agree that this isn’t a very good complaint.

If I were you and I got a legendary gear lube, the LAST thing I would’ve done would be to scrap it. Because even if gear lube is awful, there’s always the possibility of balance changes making it a more viable item.

 

Okay, so imagine you'd have a very old, unusable Apple product. Then you'd get completely rid of it. Few weeks later you'd find out, that Apple is exchanging them for one of their best products out there for free! Wouldn't you be pissed off?

 

I didn't scrap it because it wasn't used. I scrapped it because I hated the extra turret agility it added to my Enforcer. That's why I'm not playing the game atm.

 

But why did you scrap it in first place when you knew that it's pretty hard to collect legendaries.?
