Fire defence perk

    Hello Everybody,

    I had been thinking for some time about this perk, but now with the new event I thought I piost my idea about a fire defence perk.

    Seems to me a good idea, but what are your thoughts?

    That is the problem with all weapons, gear and perks. So, I don´t see that as a problem.

    If a Fixer shoots a repair bolt at someone, does the fire stop?

    No it doesn't. A repair bolt can only stop frost and stun.

    Wasnt myself but a fellow MVP removed the swear word from your post ;)
    Fire defence is a no no from me, there isnt any defence for any other specific weapons.
    Fire would also be hit harder by this than any other weapon so seems illogical?
    For instance give a ship 30 defence points against cannons, the 1500 cannon hit will hit for 1470, still significant.
    However give a ship 30 fire defence, and take a flare that ticks for 60 damage for 20 seconds, being reduced to 30 per tick, you just cut the damage from 1200 to 600.
    Definitely not feasible.

    Well I class it as a swear word, as obviously did the MVP who moderated it, but dont worry about it, you wasn't issued any warnings etc, the MVP simply rewrote it so it was suitable for all audiences ;)
