Although I agree with the core of what you'e saying 800 coins does not guerentee and epic perk. Unlike the last boxes every 10th box has no special rewards which means what you get is all up to probability. According to the laws of probability every time you open a box you still only have a 5% chance of receiving the epic perk ( unless they used a progressive probability system, which I'm sure they would've mentioned somewhere). If you don't understand probability here is a simple example: every time you flip a coin you have a 50/50 chance of it landing on heads. Flipping a coin 10 times does not mean it will land heads 5 times and tails 5 times, it could still land tails 10/10 times.

To expand on the uncommon parts, cells, perks (and rare cells) comment .. and why they should all be removed from event rewards.

Using this event as an example:

Assuming an average of 4 minutes, 6 coins per match, a player is earning 90 coins per hour. It'll take a player 11 hours to earn 960 coins.

What does that player get for their 11 hours?

    a) 60 coins wasted - not carrying over next week.
    b) Twelve Perk Boxes
    • 8 uncommon perks (sell)
    • 3 rare perks (sell)
    • 1 epic perk (assuming it's still guaranteed)
    • 1 legendary perk
If you want a certain perk, there's a 87.5% chance that you're not getting it in legendary and a 76.5% chance you're not getting it in either epic or legendary.

If there are two perks you want, you have a 75% chance of not getting either one in legendary form or a 56% chance of not getting either in epic or legendary.

Anywho, more than half the time, the only consolation prize for your 165 games and 11 hours battling is the gold you receive from selling the perks you can't use.

Ironically, the consolation prize only further irritates you since your gold storage is overflowing after that many matches and you don't have the extra inventory space to hold 13 worthless perks.

P.S. - Rare stuff is equally as pointless for me .. but getting rid of all the rare stuff is probably too much to ask for.

Let me stop you here. Go to the info tab. You'll see that it says: "every 10th box gives a guaranteed epic perk"

Well ok then lol. Not sure why they would relocate that information, if I'm not mistaken it used to be in the individual box description?

I don’t think the uncommon perks are actually meant as a prize that people will use - I think they are essentially a place holder for getting no prize (just slightly nicer way to say “you lose”). I’m guessing they have to give non-prizes as prizes to moderate progression. Every 10th box being a decent prize (at least in theory) makes sure we get something for the grind without flooding the game with high level perks. Anyone who does grind hard for coins should appreciate this because without the uncommons, even players who only play lightly would quickly fill up their items with good perks - neutralizing the benefits you achieve from playing many more hours than they do.

Yeah, but they still want the leggy perks ..

Uncommon perks still piss people off.

Rare perks -> nearly as worthless - certainly not OP - but people are less ticked than getting an uncommon -> more gold from selling -> gold stores fill up quicker -> more pearls spent refreshing the shop (bc people really do not like playing with a full gold bar).
