My proposal is the following.

Add in Brock's skill tree, a characteristic corresponding to some armor advantage to the Defenders.

A new blue slot weapon. 3 slotcoins
That allows the Defenders (the tank ship of the game) to reduce damage, through the name "Harder Steel"
The defender will turn a black color while having this active ability.
That is similar to a Pulse Repair, so that it offers its allies armor.
"3 slot coins"
I ask that it occupy 3 spaces so that it is not used by other boats.

This will allow the Defender to climb the popularity ladder.

Also that the advantages of armor are easier to achieve.

The proportion of armor that is provided is new weapon would be analyzed by the developers but I think this would be very good for them.

And with respect to the Enforcer ,I think that they are not Overpower, the problem is that they do not have a boat that counteracts them.

You just contradicted yourself! Enfos aren't overpowered there is just not a counter to them! That is the definition of overpowered and unbalanced bro!

Good intention, but it won't work. Defenders have 5 blue openings and 6 blue slot 'coins'. We already use one 2-slot item and the rest are all 1-slot items. There isn't room for a 3-slot without sacrificing another blue item.

Also defense sucks against anything other than carronade and missiles.

 

I want to see more ppl running this setup in the bay.

My suggestion for defenders to make it popular is to change the item slot distribution. Currently, defenders mark 6/7 have 5 red slot points and 6 blue slot points. This should change to either 4 red/ 7 blue or 3 red/ 8 blue. This would enable defenders to use 2 big shields or 3 big shields respectively. This way, defenders can have more HP. For more variety, devs can introduce more 2-slot blue items such as a big bandage (higher self heal) or an item that combines the effect of rudder or gear lube.
