Repair Pulse range indicator

    All items in Battle Bay has an indicator which assists in firing it. e.g. Canon target turns red on enemies. Repair Bolt target turns green on friends.

    Unfortunately, similar system is not in place for Repair Pulse. If I want to heal a friend under enemy fire, I don't know upto which safe place I can go and my repair pulse would still hit him.

    Here's my request for Repair Pulse:
    If a healer is equipped with Repair Pulse and the Pulse isn't reloading, illuminate the surrounding water with green showing the range of the Pulse. It can be similar to Mortar Circle with Ship at the center.
    It'll be beneficial to all ships on the team. If healer wants to heal someone, it can first put that ship in the circle before triggering the Pulse. If other ships want to get healed, they can reach the circle and/or stay in the circle.

    There's no thumbs down of adding this feature. Devs should definitely consider it.

    Actually, there is: dev time. Based on the number of devs and the patch history of this game, I don't think they'd be willing to spend time making something like this.

    Also, green circles already exist for a different thing, which could be confusing.

    Plus, it'll give someone a nice little heads-up for big torp splash damage... I think they're roughly the same radius?

    Repair pulse diameter: 10
    Big torp radius: 3.5
    Big torp diameter: 7

    They're not really that similar imo

    This could also benefit the unfriends team assuming they have rather skilled players. I myself am getting pretty good at using mortars/ torpedoes to control enemy movements (napalm is good for this as well). Having that indicator would help me know that the pulse is charged and I'll know when to drop a mortar to keep someone from entering the healing field. (Assuming I can see the 2d circle from a distance). Imo the best additions/buffs are ones that benefit both teams in some way.

    I'm the are should only be seen by the user, because all other items that shows the srea of effect, only the user can see it until they actually use it.

    This seems wrong.. Ballspark is by no means smaller than Repair Pulse..

    If unfriend team also has healer, it can be beneficial to friend team, too. BTW, any ship won't get tied to the healer circle. After encountering red circle, they can certainly move away. This is actually a fun.

    Healer circle can be made invisible to unfriends, but I'd suggest visible one.

    What's wrong with that? Even currently, if unfriend ships are surrounding their healer, you can torp them for a mass damage.
