Anyone else hating Drunk Mode?

I've learned a few things from this Event.

1. I absolutely hate max rudder and lube. Combo those with auto-aim features is a nightmare. If the ship control was like this normally I would have left the game long ago.

2. EventMatchmaker(tm) seems to be doing a lot better with boats in matches. The issue I had this time around is the ship balancing aspect. I go 9 of 10 wins, 9 of 10 losses, 9 of 10 wins, 9 of 10 losses. Ship balancing is FAR more important than who is in the match itself... and the streakiness means there is obviously some manipulation going on here based on streaks. I can't remember the last time I've had such consistently inept teammates. Oh I've had this before, and it's enough to make me stop playing. I'd much rather win every other game than this streaky thing going on.... please randomize the balancing rather than manipulate it.

3. Did I say how much I hate max rudder? And max turret too? I could never get close range combat to work with the auto-aim's built in "oh look a boat is right in front of me, let's bounce auto-aim elsewhere, because now that means it'll whip the turret 90 degrees in an instant (because max turret), which forces a ship turn re-aim at, again, the boat RIGHT IN FRONT of me, but max turrent means my boat is whipsawing around.. bad stuff.

I suppose I should have/could have disabled auto-aim entirely. Using auto-aim like this was like a challenge to me, but I failed.

 

I'd take max rudder/gear lube if I didn't need to use the items
