As known, frost is pretty hard to use now due to its past glory., Yet this isn't a good reason to make them almost trash-like.
My three ideas on buffing the frost are:
    1. Make it a frost bolt, add turret and rudder effects too.
    2. Make it unbreakable by any weapons other than mortars or torpedoes, and only the first hit counts for frost damage.
    3. The strength of frost effect reduces over time, meaning the frozen one could gain more mobility over time.

    What do you guys think??

It just needs to be like this -
    • Torps and mortars break frost
    • All other items (the ones that don't benefit from frost itself) reduce the duration by half (like it worked before)
    That's all, imo.
Edit: maybe little bit of effect weakening also (20%?) :)

I think Frost and Stun should have hp like TS, so they only break when the hp have been exceeded. That would fix a lot of the issues with them being broken by mistake.

No, that’s not what it means.

The ship would still receive the damage, but the Frost/Stun would not break until the damage exceeded its hp.

For example: a ship is hit by a Frost Blaster that requires 400hp to break. A moment later the ship recieves 250 damage from the edge of a Mortar. The frost will remain because the damage has not exceeded 400. The the ship is then hit by a Swift for 800 damage. 250+800 > 400 so the Frost is removed.

More powerful items would require incrementally more damage to break.

Doesn't read like that to me... What I think they're saying is that it'll take a certain number of shots to remove the stun or frost completely - not one shot like it is now.
    Personally I love this idea

    good
    but,
shooter noobs who use many xcannons and other items thatll 1-shot the freeze is not good
just make it like the old ones-each shot gives -1/2 duration

If frost is buffed to a balanced state, this would be an indirect nerf to TS’s which may be a desirable outcome.

I'm all for a frost buff as long as defender is buffed with it. Because more frost users means that defenders will be literal rocks half the times waiting for a big berta to bullseye it.

good idea, defender does need a buff. I think one of the solution is to greatly buff defender's base defense points to 250 ish

    negative like,
that meas that caroo will now do
    0
    1
    3
    0
    1
    2

    and misiles will do
    37
    61
    59
    21

the real buff would to make ALL ships reply on shields, -10% effectiveness, and buff 20% hp to all ships, defender gets 25, maybe 30%.
and make defender a smaller target, now itll be 'just' a *tad* bigger than enfo (thiccness too :))

Complaining that carro and missiles are ineffective against defender is like complaining mortars are ineffective against speeders.

Let’s keep on topic, this is a frost buff thread not a defender buff thread.

one of the most effective ways to curb double bubble enforcers is to buff frost.

Kind of off topic, but what happens when you shoot a frost bolt at a Tesla shield?
