Seperating tesla items and speed items

    Yeah roughly topic is what I wrote to headline, so lets dig in.

    Speed items I talk about is nitro and overboost. Aims for boosting our movement speed and agility.(we should add agility boost items for speed items because 2 wont be enough) Their slot color wont change, Its still yellow.

    Tesla items I talk about is our doesnt change tesla shields and bolts our support and crowd control items. Tesla items are tech product items, with this concept, its are much easier to implement new item ideas such as wall spawning, turret spawning. We need no any ships for them.

    Tesla items and speed items should be seperate because:

    -There is no particular differences between enforcer and speeder.

    They can convert to each other(with items of course). Like double bubble speeder, or a speedy enforcer.

    We should seperate yellow items for speeder is speed items mainly, for enforcer tesla items mainly. Speeder should get slots for speed items mainly, Enforcer should get Tesla items mainly.

    -There are monopolies for items in 2 ships

    Most of speeders get overboost, tesla shield and nitro. Enforcers get double bubble and all. But seperating the tesla consept, we are open to new ideas since tesla is tech items.

    Here is some tesla items I thought:

    Tesla Net:
    A durable net that wont let anything pass through it, even your projectiles. Makes a wall for a time. Slot point: cant decide
    Tesla Turret:
    A fierce bot that shoots cannon till its last hp. Cant move, has standard cannon to equipped it. Upgrades increases turrets attack. Captains can increase the hp. Slot point: 2
    Tesla Buoy:
    Increases nearby teammates damage for a while. Cant move and has a time. Slot point: 2
    Tesla Mod:
    Same as tesla buoy, but only single target and 1 slot point. So fixers also can equip this

    Lets assume we seperated tesla and speed items, what problems wait us ahead?

    -How do you think we should disturb slots? This will ruin everyones game play because they cant fit that slots easily.
    That might be a issue. So lets try not to ruin monopolies.
    Speeders mostly use ob+nitro+tesla items
    Enforcers mostly use ob+double bubble
    So our slots should like be:
    Speeder: 1Y+2Y+2P
    Enforcer: 1Y+2P+2P
    -What about the fixers yellow slot?
    It should get a "Compound slot" but what compound slot means? That means a slot can equip 2 kind of items in 1 slot. There are tesla bolt fixers along the speed item fixers. So our slot should be like:
    Fixer: 1Y to mk3, 1YP slot in mk4 and beyond. Thus fixer can also benefit the support items of tesla and fixer mk4 wont be weak anymore.
    -Then what will frost be?
    Oh boy are we gonna delete those? Nope, we will change its design and make it tesla items for slow. Same mechanics, same shoot, just new appereance, graphics and name.
    -We can't make up new spaces in talents for items
    We should make new captains for specified kind of items.

    So roughly topic is this. Devs side its a lot of work, but I hope you guys make this real. I didnt think another beyond but please just spot out the problems you thought and we should solve it together.

    1. There is a difference between an enforcer and speeder. A speeder speeds, the enforcer dances. Done.
    2. If you're gonna implement a while new set of items, then there needs to be another ship or every ship needs a slot remake.
    3. Fixer should get both

    Speeder and enforcer are very different. Speeder is fast when only when moving forward, while enforcer is overall agile and has decent speed, both forward and backwards, rudder agility and turret agility. Speeder is more of a hit and run ship, with only 2 red weapon slots but the ability to use 2 slot point items, while enforcer is a brawler, and has 3 weapon slots but is unable/highly not recommended to use 2 slot point weapons. Double bubble speeders would not be very speedy, and speedy enforcers... well idk but they don't seem to do the job of tanking shots and being annoying as well as double bubble enfos.


    Imo the current yellow slot system is perfectly fine, and doesn't need any changes. Many yellow ships have yellow item loadouts that are about the same, if not exactly the same, but that's because those yellow items just suit the ship better. No need to restrict what they can use further.
