Is the event opened boxes count reset after the event ends?

    I know that the used coins are reset after the end of the event, but is this the same for the opened boxes count?
    For example:
    If i opened 5 boxes for item pieces this event then stoped, is the count will stay 5 next event so i need more 5 boxes for the leagendary item piece or i will start over from 0?

    That's not what happened for me. I opened one or two item piece boxes after I got a legendary piece last event, but I still needed the 10 boxes this event to get legendary piece.

    I found somewhere at forums that number of boxes isn't reset after event ends/new event starts

    Number of boxes needed doesn't reset, but if you get lucky and get a leg piece, then the 10 boxes reset. I think Miika said it somewhere.

    I know. After I got the legendary piece, I opened one or two piece boxes last event, and didn't get a legendary piece from either. But it still required for me to get 10 piece boxes this event.
