Event feedback. Worst event yet?

This event is horrible. It's basically regular matches but to 10 kills. No nothing. The wait times are always lagging (3-5 min wait times). Was even at 1 point completely broken to where no one at all could find a match.

Idk about you but I'll be playing ranked instead of event this weekend.

 

It's a lot more aggressive than normal matches though, and you can spam weapons more which is fun (older events were still better though). Also, while wait times were longer, I think MM also improved some because now I'm mostly fighting other Ace players while before I would be playing with master league players.

 

Only played 7 matches so far, won 5 and lost 2 in my usual enfo setup... Mine spammers deserve to be beaten with a pipe though! Saw one shooter with 5 mines... Easy enough to kill at range

 

Yeah definitelt worst event so far..coins distribution sucks as well, like the previous 5v5 1v1 and 2v2 you can lose and still get 6-7 coins but now mostly 2-3 coins ugh!! Seal clubber already and big issue and Rovio keep putting us down..

 

Event's still a blood bath, but I have to admit, it's much more organised now and there's no mine spam (based on the few battles that I played). Matchmaking definitely got tweaked, and it's for the better on my build I've never waited for 2 minutes or more for any of the matches, but I have seen players complaining about it in the global chats. (Although personally, I rather a longer wait time for a fair match than many unfair matches again and yet again.) Overall this event is actually not too bad compared to some of the previous ones!

Yep. You can still spam mines and mortars eveneif you have potatoes for thumbs it seems!

 

Plus you'll easily get leg Mine from Achievement lol

 

I'll probably just play the odd game here and there for this event tbh... Not fancying the grind this time

 

I think it's better this way, because in previous event, people were just using set ups that just deal damage, but don't necessarily win. Yet they still got about the same or more coins than their enemy even if they lost. But now, it's more fair, and you actually have to try to win, which I think is good.

 

Whenever I got matched against defenders in my shooter I got the same or more coins as them even though they always won, because they can absorb damage well.

 

Yeah, that was the problem in 1v1 and 2v2. As a defender, even though I kept winning, they just deal more damage and they get same or more coins than me.

 

I thought you were saying "Thou" as in "you," (like thee is you, but objective, and thy is your, and etc) so I was confused at first, until I figured out "though" made more sense lol.

 

Trying to win is for ranked games not event..event is about getting coins..I mean ofc we still want to win but when you dealt 10k damage and lose cuz you face two fleeting seal clubber, its a bit harsh to get 3 coins especially cuz it took longer as well to finish a single match..

 

But still, if you're a defender facing a shooter, you're high health is your main strength, but for that, firepower and speed is sacrificed. This makes it easier for opponents to deal damage to you, while you don't deal as much as them even if you win. In this way, it's unfair for some ships. Dealing damage takes a few taps. Winning takes skill.
