    Hello Everyone,

All the complaining aside and the seal clubbers, I liked the 2 vs 2. It was nice we could fleet in this event.

    Agreed?

Yes, it was really fun :D My only complaint was that fleeting made the matches a lot harder for some reason.

it was funny but no fair matches for me:(
I either had "cheaters" (those who deliberately manipulate gear score by thousands from their normal one) or noobs, met only 1 person who was able to compete with me (luckily, I had him in my team and then fleeted him for the rest of the matches so it was easy af) and we could win together anything if we didn't met these "cheaters"
we only lost to these "cheaters" because normal mk4 players (at least those who I met) are not even able to lead their shots, not even talking about something like tactics or co-operation (teamwork) so these weren't opponents for me (nkt arrogant but describing sad reality:()
I met only two mk5 ships (these were shooters and they were in enemy team) and I lost, but not because they were more skilled but because they used they brutal force to overrun us (it was 0-2 after like 30 second, then we made it to 3-2, they killed me so it was 3-3 and then they killed in knife-fight my fleetmate with sniper's crit hits (that's imho even bigger BS than getting matched with them)
we were dealing more damage than these mk5 shooters at long to mid range because they weren't able to lead shots properly but once they came close enought their inability to lead shots was out of the game and they steamrolled use by raw damage of their weapons

    and something positive:
got two leggy red pieces from crates in a row, then got one blue leggy piece and when I combined the rare pieces I got, I recieved rare frost launcher which was immediately scrapped and I recieved another leggy red piece from scrapping it (don't even want to know the chance of happening it in %)

I only need 1 more leg red piece and was hoping to get it today, but all I got was a leg blue and green :( congrats on that insanely improbable reward :D

I liked everything about the event as well

    The good
    • Fleeting!
    • Rewards system
    • 2v2 is a little more fun than 1v1. I was equally successful in both.
    The bad
    • Didn't like the mix of perks available in this or the last event. Very Fixer heavy... good for Fixers though.
    • Matchmaking actually balances Gear Score most of the time, with one caviat: I cannot use my only T5 Epic item. If I do I get +1 MK's with +2k Gear Score, each! Give me +2k Gear Score over my opponents and let's see what happens to them. :)

I completely disagree with this statement. Not only because of the obviousness that having a teammate whose setup you don't know is a great disadvantage, but because (at least in my experience) matchmaking gives you harder enemies:eek:
    Is weird, I know.

This event has been a blast. Mos fun event yet. Thanks Devs. @Miika

This shark has complained tons before. Not this one. Fleeting is the secret sauce. Boating with friends is where it's at.

Well, I tried fleeting with @BasedCarpen, but then we got super tough enemies with at least 1k higher gear score than our's. I also fleeted with someone called Ancient Frogman or something, who had even closer gear score to me, with same results.

Fleeting can mess up the matchmaking insome cases. WhenI fleeted with someone with a mk4 and a legendary and myself with a mk5 (I have no legendaries), we got mk6 as opponents who killed us so quickly, I was not able to blink.

And sadly there are soooooooo many trying to fool the system, that I wheep for humanity.

And especially new players with a mk1 or mk2 had the most to suffer. Some had just payed 100 battles and had weapons which did 150 damage tops, but still they faced those aweful Nightmarian cheaters, who had mk5s, m6 or even mk7s, but used their mk1 or mk2 instead. Put 1 or 2 rare shields on it and a level 1 legendary and a t4 ot t5 rare or epic cannon. And killed these newbies in just 1 shot.

These people should get a ban for the next 2 events if you ask me.

And about the rewards, nice, but I don't care for it that much. I think there are coming too many perks on the market now, some ar just weird and ruining normal fights.

There can also be something like being 'too much' . Because I just liked the events anway with or without those new perks.

This event was my favorite one yet. Got over 1k bc in just this event and bought three legendary pieces. Two of them were completely useless though (yellow with defender) :(

Okay, I'll say in this thread all the positive things I noticed.

    1. To be able to form fleets. √
    2. Events contribute to guild quests. √
    3. Rewarded with coins. √
    4. The system of boxes with progression for the legendary chest. √
    5. Duration of events. √
    6. 1 event per week. √

※If I find another positive thing I note it directly. ;)

And here the event benefits more at the big level than at the lower level at level 46-50.

Yep, spend a bunch of money to get to Mk7 .. it had nothing to do with skill at all .. it was all matchmaking lol

^^^ sarcasm (for all the ESLs)

Personally I think that the ability to fleet in 2v2 was OP. I may be wrong, but I’d guess that in matches where one team is fleeting and the other isn’t, then the fleeting team would have a win % much higher than 50%. It would be good if Devs could give us that statistic (it may show I’m talking completely wrong)

Part of the reason for that is the ability to select complimentary weapons, and know how each other is going to play. Part is probably that you’ll pick someone good to fleet with (who’ll use good tactics, not break stun, communicate who to target, not float etc)

I also think it was even more effective at the top end of nightmare. Those players have very few players who will be online at any one point in time to match against. By fleeting with one of those players, it makes it harder to balance the teams as you’ve now got to hope that there are another two similarly high gear score players online for each and every battle. I don’t think such similarly high gear score players were always online which is what resulted in some players having to face these powerful beasts (as you’ve got to give them someone to fight).

I don't think there is any problem with fleeted teams having an advantage due to better tactics and communication. Everyone has the ability to fleet and gain this advantage. Players go in solo by choice.
